Emma was Michael's next door neighbor and by proximity the first person he dated. She is a very typical girly-girl. Though she is trying to be more bold and why she now works at the Maid Cafe.

Emma is the girl next door of the protagonist and was his first ever girlfriend, though at the time it didn't last long as her parents had to move to a different borough when her father lost his job, which as they were young effectively ended their relationship as she switched schools and no longer saw Michael anymore, but she has always remembered him and now hopes to rekindle their youthful love.

Emma has always been a bit shy, a typical girly-girl which sadly has left her longing in love rather than being with people, but she wants to change and so took the job at the Maid Café to try and help her gain more confidence in herself. Now with Michaels return she feels that this was 'meant to be'.
