Description

Kasumi is a third-year at Eisui Girls' High School in Kagoshima Prefecture and Komaki's closest blood-relative, her cousin. She and the other members of Eisui's team are shrine maidens; she belongs to a branch family of the maidens' lineage. Kasumi is also the president of the school's mahjong club. Kasumi is a very kind and polite girl. She is close with the rest of her team, especially Komaki, whom she calls "Komaki-chan" rather than "Princess".

Kasumi's abilities stem from her close relationship with Komaki. Since she couldn't be the vessel for all nine of her goddess spirits, Kasumi, being her closest blood relative, had to be the vessel for one of them, which happens to be an evil goddess. With the goddess spirit, Kasumi can randomly collect one type of suit for each round. However she can not switch back to her usual style until she is purified. According to Kyouko, Kasumi likes to play a defensive game, as she is used to receiving the point lead from Komaki and Hatsumi.
