He was a bloodthirsty fighter and was well trusted within the organization. However, when the previous head of the Red Flower Society, Yeung Kwun, died, he was suspected of plotting to assassinate Francis, and since then his position within the Red Flower Society has been declining. He regains his credibility as an executive through his handling of the subsequent attack on Francis. He is an intuitive but broad-minded man with a receptive heart. He has a son, Johnny, with his late wife. He spent some time in Okinawa, where he got the nickname "Dog Head" from tattoos of the Shisa , an Okinawan lion dog statue, he had on his shoulders. At first he underestimated Yvet, but after learning of her abilities in dealing with the attack on Francis, he came to respect her.
