This character is the subject of a "Fan Club."

A fan club is a common trope where a certain character, usually an attractive male, has a group of crazed "fans" who usually stalk, lust for, and act overprotective over them. Many have a crush on the character in question and come together as a "Fan Club" in order to obsess over them with other people.

Despite the name, this trait usually isn't used for idols or other celebrities. It's usually used for "School Idols."
