< report >So, this site says that the remake is going to be released this month (December 2010). Can anyone confirm this/tell me where vndb found this out? I hope it comes out this month, but I haven't seen any other sources saying that it's coming out soon.Last modified on 2010-12-15 at 01:06

< report >The Tsukihime remake definitely falls into the category of "I'll believe it when I see it". There are vast forces in the universe that endeavor to keep running gags like "Isn't it sad, Sacchin?" going for all eternity.

< report >I belive it is going to be released at comiket. 31 this month, a ten year anniversity. Don't quote me on this. We might know more at 24 when the next Type-Moon magazine is out.

< report >So... both: the remake of Tsukihime and Mahoutsukai no Yoru are supposed to be released this month.
However, since we're talking about T-M, taking that information for a given isn't a good idea.
Both were delayed quite a few times, so I'd rather not get my hopes up. If only one was to be released, then it would be most likely Tsukihime (10th anniversary)... so, let's just wait 2 more weeks and everything will be unfolded.

< report >Well, it makes sense it is TBA. Otherwise they would have hyped it like crazy by now.

< report >... Why did you consider it to be a good idea to necro all the Tsukihime threads? Rhetoric question, no need to answer...

< report >Perhaps you should check yourself before trying to be smart about semantics.

I'll try to word this as simply as possible so you can maybe understand. It might be too hard for you. There is absolutely nothing in that image that suggests anything about anime or a possibility or probability of an anime at all. I said that before. Given that, it makes no sense to link that image with a simple message of "The remake might actually be an anime," unless you are deliberately spreading lies (in which case you really need to get better at lying) or trying to make a really bad joke (in which case you have a helplessly terrible sense of humor). I'm going to do you a favor and assume neither of these is the case. This leaves me with the assumption that you don't know better (ie not to make random shit up out of thin air). The intent of my previous post was to elicit the natural response of you explaining where you even came up with the idea, but I suppose you don't have an answer to that. It's really not a good idea to make things up and mislead a community.

My first post really said enough about the matter, but I suppose I have to make myself a little clearer.

Just for the hell of it I'll make myself even clearer. In English (or any language, probably), you don't usually say something to the effect of "x might actually be y" without some sort of explanation or implication of where you're coming from. I assumed that image was supposed to function as that, but it doesn't. As a result you just have a baseless claim hanging there, which I can't really leave alone.

Hopefully that clears things up.Last modified on 2012-08-27 at 00:13

< report >To be fair, it seems like gorgils is using that facebook link as his source and is just taking what the poster said as fact because he cannot read anything on the image itself. I am assuming he didn't actually make that Facebook image/post/account. Granted, he may have very well made that account.

Still though, you are correct. You specifically stated that there is nothing in the image implying it's going to be an anime, which means the post he linked is complete baseless BS. There's no reason to believe it's going to be an anime and you telling him about the image should have reinforced that.

I'm guessing whoever owns that facebook account wanted to make a bad joke or just wanted to spread baseless crap.Last modified on 2012-08-27 at 00:29

< report >Well, I didn't exactly take it as a fact, I just wanted to get someone with Japanese knowledge to translate it for me. Looks like it worked.
I hate when they accuse me of being naive (which you most certainly did), so I overreacted afterwards. No hard feelings :P And thanks for the information.Last modified on 2012-08-28 at 02:27
