< report >u189910 voted on Soukou Akki Muramasa despite it being on their wishlist, and wrote as a note "I wish for this every single day" -- i.e. they voted on it despite having read none of it

< report >u127932 gave DDLC a 7 hours to finish score, which is blatantly wrong.

< report >I mean it's a vote of how long it took them, so it can't be wrong.

< report >Ok, so if I went on the page for any generic shitpost OELVN that takes 5 minutes to finish, and I said it takes 20 hours to finish, then it's not vandalism/a troll vote?

< report >That would definitely be a troll vote, but DDLC clearly isn't that case.

< report >If you check HowLongToBeat.com then you'll see that 7 hours isn't unusual for people playing DDLC+, since it adds additional content to the game. And that is the version that u127932 played. Not to mention that the median completionist time for the original DDLC is 7.5 hours, so it'd be within reason even if they hadn't played DDLC+. There is simply no reason to label their vote a "troll vote".

< report >Oh, I based my off vote off the original version and the time required to get all endings in that release. Gomen.

< report >About reason #1, there's a chance people will do it without any malice, thinking vndb allows these pre-release votes as a way to "gauge interest".

It's not unreasonable to assume there's something in place for this, like anidb has separate temp and permanent voting.
