< report >clannad 9.4 raters unite

well i'd have given it a 9.5 if vndb didn't round .5 upwards on the vote distribution chart. could i actually be doing some convoluted low-key rating manipulation!?Last modified on 2021-10-05 at 21:05

< report >@322 You voted on the most mid Key game on the same day you created your account and gave it a 10, therefore your vote is suspicious <.<
jk lol~ even if the person created their account exclusively to downvote that specific game it's not against the rules unless it was a duplicate account. It sucks, but if you liked the vn that's all that matters (sorry for my bad English)

< report >@327 bruh, that user created that account on the same day of his vote and literally voted primal x hearts 2 a number of 1. Thats already sus and also I added more games after I rated SP a 10 since I didn't know there was a website that has visual novel information like anime and mangaLast modified on 2021-10-07 at 08:36

< report >@319

< report >I agree this guy should be blacklisted because he doesn't use the scale as intended and we have a proof he does.
Double standard of course for WA2. I mean you can't risk to give WA2 a bad score because of your own stupidity.
It does fit rule number 2:
2. Openly admit to voting in a certain way just to screw the stats.

< report >Apparently no game but WA can be rated higher than 2 -.-'
I'm in agreement that this should be blacklisted, as he is purposefully skewing the votes.

Edit: Done.Last modified on 2021-10-07 at 20:52

< report >27/52 10 for a short SAO porn fanfic with subpar production quality looks pretty shady to me. 23 accounts only voted once on this VN. On the other hand, I don't understand why someone would want to boost the score of such a game.

< report >Sex Anime Online looks super suspicious, but I'm suspecting social media buddies over that being a single person. :/

< report >The votes are spread across a whole year. Notice that even the 7-8 are suspicious.
Also, one of those voters (u102571) defaced a release to express their "love" for the game so I wouldn't be surprised if they orchestrated all of that just for the purpose of trolling, even using buddies, unless they were part of the movement. In any case, this is pretty telling. I would honestly purge the entry of all the one-voters.

< report >@331 He didn't openly admit to voting in a certain way JUST to screw the stats though did he ?
I thought the policy was
To be clear: I don't do anything against people who vote all 10's or all 1's - you can vote however you want and I have no intention to police that. I only act on the guidelines outlined in my first post and ignore any other accusation.

His notes in link are pretty telling. He's not hiding that the votes are bullshit, hence he's clearly breaking the second point quoted by Eacil.

< report >He could be voting based on an "objective" formula of sorts on which his subjective appreciation of the game has little bearing, I believe plenty of people openly do that. Or he could simply think his favourite visual novel is so good there is an 8 points gap between it and his second favourite visual novel, is this not allowed ?

I mean I'm all for blacklisting any weird voting behaviours that screw the stats so whatever i guess, but just to make sure, that means we're not allowed to rate something we liked a 2 is that right ? How far does that go ? If he rated f/sn a 5 would he be in the clear ? what about 6 ? how do you determine how much he liked it ?Last modified on 2021-10-08 at 23:20

< report >Maybe he gives a 1~ to good VNs, and a 10 to VNs so good that his notes become speechless by how good they are.
