Won't know exactly until it is translated (if it ever is), but it looks like Wilfried starts a war against the other nearby races; possibly kills Erika and, of course, is killed himself, most likely by Ria.
By the looks of things, there aren't any happy endings...

A post in the Steam forums has possible speculations about where it ends upLast modified on 2018-06-14 at 14:54

Basically it's an open ending.
I won't spoil much but just as @3 said, Wilfried has been killed by Ria.
Was that really a spoiler?
Anyway you can assume that they concluded the demon world chapter and will probably cover the other two continents.Last modified on 2018-06-14 at 15:10

Are there actually any plans for further stories though, or has Escu:de totally finished with it ?

From what I've seen, the ending text seems to be somewhat ambiguous - although it does slightly explain why it's called Re;LordLast modified on 2018-06-17 at 20:44

No, it's officially over.
I have no sources so I can't back this up, this is just my personal opinion.
They might make another entry using a different title with a different protagonist with a few characters appearing again..

I presume it's not a particularly ending for most of them, although with Wilfreid, it's terminal...

Does Ria kill him because she wants to usurp him, or she finally decides to do something decent, and try and help Saarland ?Last modified on 2018-06-18 at 14:07

That's indeed highly plausible. We can only wait until then.
Also, please cover that in spoiler tags.

Hopefully we'll also find out who Erika and Fine's master is. Most likely it's either Ria or Wilfried - going all Bioshock on us

Also, whether the girls are working together (in which case it seems to spectacularly fail), or whether they are just doing their own thing

It can't be either of the two because Erika would have recognized them by their first meeting.

True, but then she doesn't mention terrorist incident either. I wouldn't be surprised if all the witches have (or will have) had some of their lives affected by Wilfried (or Darius), and they are trying (rather incompetently) to get things fixed Last modified on 2018-06-18 at 16:58

Is the witch in 3 a drug addict or is she so afraid of Wilfried that she needs extra help in trying to fight him?

I won't go as far as call her a drug addict.
Maybe she's just simply afraid of Wilfried because he has an army big enough to be recognized by the military. Plus he has a reputation of a (cape)maniac and a rapist. Also for some reason He's following her.(she still didn't knew the 2nd witch was captured).
Just my understanding from my small knowledge about nihonggo.

Fair enough! I do hope Sekai hurry up and translate 2 & 3 and not leave it at just 1... The main problem I can see is it's a bit of an... acquired... taste...

I would like to think that at least Fine ends the story in a fairly decent position (although unlikely), as I think she has suffered the most : By her own naivety, kindness and plain bad luck; Erika using her as just a shield for half of episode 1 and, of course, by Wilfried on multiple occasions.

Her defeat knocks over the set of dominoes, leading to the downfall of all the girls...

At the end it says "Re;Lord Disaster of Witches is finished. to be continued... Another re;story." so maybe there is a plan for further stories but maybe with different tittle but with "re;" in it and with different protagonist maybe

so...wilfred die or not? At the end of the game when you come bak to the tittle and the tb glitch it shows that wilfred killed julius and he start again(the time traveller thing)

After the battle with ria we know that wilfred is heavily injured and ria regain consciousness and no matter what she do she can't help wilfred so she Sacrifice herself? So wilfred didn't die right?

But the weird thing is he said "start again "as in he already had done it

I think he died, he definitely did. Because I doubt Ria will make a mistake like that.

Yes, that phrase bugs me too, I thought it was just me misunderstanding the sentence it but if someone read it the same way as I do then...

...Let's just wait for the new entry~

Was Ria fighting Wilfried to usurp his power, or was she finally doing something good for once and prevent him from becoming the dictator he's always wanted ?

Although with the previous comments, it makes me wonder if someone else does

Would be good, but I somehow doubt they'll go back to it again. It also has a double meaning as well.Last modified on 2018-07-14 at 13:07

The latter implying you can re;play the game (see what I did there - heh)

Well... Yeah,it also could mean like that but i don't thint that's what it really means and i don't really doubt escu:de since they even bother to continued their tenshi primaveil series (i see what you did there)

It's hard to say - nothing is listed for Escu:de projects, beyond Revenger. It would be nice to have an alternative view of things, perhaps from Fine or Erika's perspective or perhaps a bit of back-story for the girls - although not having played 2 (yet) & 3, I don't know whether they give much info there, beyond the fact that Fine and Erika have been working together for a while (and which Fine is happy with)Last modified on 2018-07-15 at 12:24

I presume by the end we'll find out what the witches ultimate aim was - no doubt it was to do with Wilfried and his ambition (although saying that Erika doesn't add Wilfried to her list of aims until later - unless that's a continuity error, especially as she blames him for various future events), but it's surprising how woefully ill prepared the girls in 1 were - although it was not helped by Erika's laziness and arrogance (at least at the start).

It's almost as though any collective plan they had was designed for all the witches to fail, in which case, it's surprising that they all agree to carry out the plan, unless the results were destined to be far larger than all the humiliations that Wilfried puts them through.Last modified on 2018-08-01 at 21:00

Wait, I'm confused as to why you guys are confused. All the things here were clearly explained in the game, and not even a side story or anything, so it's not like you can miss it.

Here are a few spoilers in case -

Lia didn't kill Wilfried, not completely anyway. She ended up sacrificing herself to save the fatally wounded Wilfried. From the looks of it he kind of became a monster of sorts, unbound from timeline and everything, but no, he's not dead. If you missed it, click on the television after the game over screen when the scene is different.

Lia is the master who sent them back, and erased their memories, again, to stop Wilfried from dying. This was confirmed in multiple scenes.

It kinda pisses me off really. It's a great ending, but they definitely left the door open for further sequels. So I half want them to continue (which, from the looks of it, they have no intention of doing) but also don't want them to mess with the ending.

I might be a tad bit late in replying in this thread though....
