Hello. Welcome to the VNDB forums.

Protip: Just because a VN looks half decent doesn’t mean it “deserves” a translation.

The game's only been out a month or so in Japan... if it doesn't even sell / review that well in Japan then there's no reason for it to catch the eyes of localisation companies. Come back in a couple years if this becomes some classic VN and then we'll talk.

Yes, even Fate/Stay Night didn't have official Englisk localization, although it is a legendary novel. Don't know why, by the way.

That's licensing problems for you. Not everyone wants to license their game or setting to the outside, and sometimes even if they do - they demand outrageous money. It's one of the reasons why so many niche or shit novels get licensed.Last modified on 2018-08-02 at 23:50

Fate/Stay Night never got localized mainly because Aksys seems to have decided that they're only doing otome VNs and XSeed just doesn't do them in general. Considering that Type-Moon seems to be stepping away from eroge, I doubt that they'd license the 18+ version to any localization company; and the Realta Nua version has several high profile seiyuu who might be expensive to license. Fate also has a combination of other factors; it's long, it's old, the writing is kind of obtuse/difficult to translate, and most people within the scene have already played the fantranslated version at this point. Even if you managed to make a nearly perfect translation, along with implementing every improvement the fan patch to Realta Nua makes to the base game, you'd still be facing an uphill battle to convince people to read a VN that they've already read, besides the fact that there's a vocal minority who thinks that the Mirror Moon translation is fine because of FFVII-style Stockholm syndrome. All in all, it's a massive pain in the ass that likely isn't going to be overly profitable. I doubt anyone other than possibly SakuraGame or Sekai Project would even attempt it.
