okay, maybe it was late but i'll make discussion thread here since i can't read clearly japanese-english via translator tools ithvnr + agth, i just curious why otome change her surname to "sakurai" instead of yoshiyuki it's change his own name to "asakura"?.yoshiyuki born from "sakura wish" of cherry blossom{yoshiyuki doesn't have real sibling/family}.i know it may be odd if yoshiyuki change his name to "asakura yoshiyuki".but i heard rule in japanese goverment,if husband doesn't have real family/clan and his wife was oldest in her family .wife should take role make her surname family and give it to her husband .

sorry for my bad english >_<Last modified on 2018-06-14 at 15:23

You're reading his name backwards. Japanese names have the surname then the name given at birth. Yoshiyuki is his given name, while Sakurai is his surname. If they are using his name as a married couple, it would be Sakurai.Last modified on 2018-06-15 at 06:17
