I tried to make one, but without success.
I'm not really good at it or anything, but when i tried, ollydgb didn't even lauch the game ^^.
I tried with cheat engine too, but the game crash as soon as it encounter a breakpoint, which make it impossible for me to even try...

I guess we'll have to wait for someone who know better how to mess with assembler than me lol.

Found a hook code here link
Hook code: /HS4C@5820:GDI32.dll

that hook code wont work. for some reason the game will need a unique hook code for each person. the instructions for finding out the code you need are in that thread though.

1. download the files that kennybus uploaded.
2. follow the instructions in the images which come with it (ignore the bit at the start for changing system to japanese since everyone has done that ages ago)
3. once you have 2 strings of numbers use any hexadecimal calculator to subtract the second number from the first.
4. you should have a 4 or 5 digit number which if you replace it where the X is in the hook code it should work for you. /HS4C@X:GDI32.dll (mine ended up being /HS4C@1EDEE:GDI32.dll )

Thanks mindlord for the link ^^.

Indeed, h-code are "personnal". It isn't hard to find it if you follow instruction though.
By the way, the software to download is x64dgb => link

Goggle translate mindlord's link like here link if you don't know chinese and follow instruction ^^.

Note that when he said " Open the game and return to the software by pressing Alt+A ", i opened the game exe with the software instead, i didn't launch the game for it to work.

Mine ended to be /HS4C@5270:GDI32.dll

The hook isn't "perfect" in the sense that sentences are there twice, and there is some garbage, but it is good enough for me ^^.

You'll have something like this linkLast modified on 2018-07-30 at 18:46

Do you do this every time you restart the pc or something? If so, this isn't any better than just looking at the memory where the text is put by the game, as you also need to find that every time you start the game.

No, this is probably definitive.
I did restart the game 3 times and the hook didn't change.

I don't know exactly how it work but it must be defined at the installation of the game i guess.
I didn't reboot my computer though, it shouldn't affect anything but we never know ^^

Edit: Restarted the PC, hook is still workingLast modified on 2018-07-30 at 19:16

I believe the hook isnt necessarily random for each person but instead dependant on something like what OS you run or something similar.
I also got the code /HS4C@5820:GDI32.dll on windows 10 home if that is what makes the difference.

edit: and i could only manage to access the game with 32bit debuggersLast modified on 2018-07-31 at 04:00

Omg, I see the plus in learning Japanese - not fighting with hook-codes or something, that can boom my brain.

what exactly does that tutorial post mean by "subtract" the codes? as in like, remove the duplicate characters from the first one out of the second one and use what's left?

i really hope someone finds a solution to this soon! i'm really antsy to play this...

EDIT: disregard this, i didn't see the thing about using a hex calculator. got a code working fine on windows 8, /HS4C@416AC:GDI32.dllLast modified on 2018-08-12 at 02:49

just for reference, mine ended up being /HS4C@5850:gdi32.dll

The sentences are doubled but at least nothing is missing
