The only thing that matters is the vndb romanisation guidelines, i.e. modified Hepburn.Does that apply not just to the main name field that shows up in vndb's character search engine, but to the Alias and Description Fields as well? |The main name field should always use the romanisation consistent with VNDB standard and the same romanisation should preferably be used in the description, too. A different spelling of the name can be included in the alias field, but it's not necessary, as the main function of the field is to list nicknames or alternative names used in the game itself.|
