if translation isn't a problem Tsuyokiss is kind of similar. Not as fighting/martial art center but has samurai like girls setting.

It really depends on what you liked about the game. Was it the samurai girls and over-the-top fights, or was it the atmosphere of a close group of friends having fun? If it's the latter, try Little Busters!. It's good for someone new to VNs to try something from Key anyway.

Yes, LittleBusters and Tsujidou cover two major aspects of Majikoi. LB! is great for that "group of friends" feeling, while Tsujidou provides more ridiculously strong fighting girls ;)

The atmosphere created through the friendship dynamic and sharp dialogue along with Yamato is hard to beat. I have a hard time finding anything quite like it in any media. Tsuyokiss comes up a bit short imo.

The reason why Majikoi feels different compared to many other VNs is because it has a huge cast that also includes several other male characters. A little less in scale would be for example Edelweiss .
Often only "plotge" or especially chuuni games may have a few other male characters around, as well as generally big casts. (doubly so if people have to die) Those however are generally not as much comedy as Majikoi and obviously get quite a bit of a different atmosphere. Same for games like Umineko.

That said, you may also try heavy comedy games like Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart , which the aforementioned Edelweiss also fits into I guess. Games by ASa Project may also work, aside of maybe Suki to Suki to de Sankaku Ren'ai , which was just way too lackluster.
Maybe also Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai .

Of course, if English is a requirement, things get a lot harder. Edelweiss still works though.

There's also Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de, you've already paid them a visit in their mansion from Yukie's route.

Besides that and what was already mentioned, I'll add Motto Nee, Chanto Shiyou yo!. (Suggested routes: Suzune, Touka and Kyou's route too if you ignore or accept a certain aspect of her route and enjoy the other parts)
There's also Nanairo Reincarnation. (Start with/Read only Kotori's route. Common+Kotori route. The rest is your choice)

Nanairo Reincarnation is getting a localization by Sekai btw. (in case you don't understand japanese/use machine translation)

And when you're done with that, you can jump into Akeiro Kaikitan. (unrelated to your request, this is more of a recommendation after you finish Nanarin. It has some elements of what you want but not as much as the previous 2. And the focus shifts depending on which route you're in.)Last modified on 2018-12-29 at 19:08
