< report >You can copy paste the whole thing into Excel which holds the table structure if that's good enough

< report >Heh, it is still on my to-do list, yes. Though with some scripting you could also use the API, or the DB dumps if you set your list to public. I had plans to make export part of the list revamp feature, but it kind of lost urgency in all the stuff that needed fixing afterwards...

While we're on the topic, any preferences for an export format? And what data should it include, exactly?Last modified on 2020-07-07 at 15:06

I am fine with any common format really.

And what data should it include, exactly?
VN ID, VN name (both original and romaji), VN status (i.e. labels), our votes, vote dates, our notes, start date, finish date, modified date, IDs of releases added to our list, said releases' names (both original and romaji), said releases status (e.g. "Obtained")

EDIT: Oh, and maybe the release date of the VN and/or developer's name as well. Since there can be VNs with the exact same name. Such as School Days and School Days.Last modified on 2020-07-07 at 16:17

< report >Something like a spreadsheet would be nice. And I agree with Rampaa regarding the data that should be included in the export feature.

< report >Only easily exportable "spreadsheet" format I can support would be CSV, but that'll have tons of compatibility issues and won't support nested lists very well. :(

< report >#10 what about txt file? it is more easy for simple content

< report >Actually, for the time being, like #6 said, a simple copy-paste into Excel generates a pretty decent result. I have tried it myself, and apparently, it also includes hyperlinks to the VN as well, which is very convenient imo.

< report >Alright, I've added a quick-and-dirty XML export function, the button can be found on your list next to "Save as default".

Open to suggestions for alternative options and formats.

< report >It's great, thanks Yorhel! May I request the inclusion of age rating of the release, publisher's name, developer's name (and even maybe engine name?) to the exports as well?Last modified on 2020-07-15 at 17:47

< report >That sounds awfully specific, you might as well script that against the DB dumps.

< report >Well maybe engine name was pushing it but I thought publisher and (especially) developer name were fair requests. :(

Anyway, thanks again!
