I voted for Rance unironically lol. To be fair, I just want to really, really make sure the remakes are released (even if they're released after 10), and I'm prone to paranoia.

Aside from that, I decided to toss my votes to Sengoku no Kuroyuri (futa on girl VN) and Otoboku 2 (trap protag on girl VN). Normally, I would slap on a yuri title, but last year was yuri overload. I think MG already knows that yuri tends to sell. It also helps that Sono Hana is 6th this year.

Obviously, I also asked them to localize more Alicesoft titles and put in Eushully for the non-MG partnered company IIRC. Asking which company you want more titles from is a really neat addition to the survey. I can't wait for the results of that.

I voted for Eustia, WA2 and Muramasa...just kidding.

I went for a Liar Soft title and two Clock Up. For the companies, I chose Atelier Sakura and whatever (Black Lilith). Have to be realistic or else it's just wasting a vote.

Not surprised if something like Evenicle 2 tops the vote even though it's pretty much guaranteed they'll do it anyway.

I suggested Waka-sama no Zasuru Sekai link, Hyakki Ryouran no Yakata link and Erewhon link.
I'm sure we'll see all three promptly. /s

Meikoku series, Youkoso! Sukebe Elf no Mori e, and Niizuma Koyomi. But it's all probably a crapshoot anyway. Should have just mentioned Ero Mahou and Amakano this year instead.

Evenicle 2 is a pretty safe bet considering how well the first game did, though there might be a delay period considering it was just released in Japan. Youkoso! Sukebe Elf no Mori e did surprising well in last years poll so I wouldn't be surprised if MangaGamer was already considering localising it. Can't really say for anything else but Eushully or Softhouse Chara could be a possibility since more and more people seem to want RPG's.Last modified on 2019-03-05 at 07:46

If anyone wants some recommendation here (after all, you can hardly play the games yourself and understand them) : Last year had Shukusei no Girlfriend -the destiny star of girlfriend- ,which was surprisingly solid for what it is. It has also better presented battles than most actual chuuni games. You don't want this to be taken by some company that doesn't do a good TL. The comedy would get killed.
So why this game? Because it's a game where you feel how much fun the creators had with it, in all kinds of ways. That's rare. Really rare.

Obviously I'm not voting myself, but maybe someone here is interested.

Take this with a big grain of salt because showing the edited assets of a game not even released yet is a ridiculous proof of identity, but if it's true, you are making a fool of yourself like a good rancefag.

Requesting Rance games at this point is kind of silly, since they will be happening. You guys should take a note from /u/ and band together some stuff we (or other publishers) haven't worked in the past.
edit: answering to the need to request 01-03.Last modified on 2019-03-05 at 19:21

Hatsuyuki Sakura and Aiyoku no Eustia, as usual. Then, since my 3rd regular title was licensed, Sakura no Uta -Sakura no Mori no Ue o Mau-. I'm a champion of lost causes.Last modified on 2019-03-06 at 00:23

Didn't know they did this, kind of cool that they do. Do they release any results that were influenced by survey or just kind find out next year having something new from them.

Survey results are released about a month or so after the survey is completed. It just depends on when they are done tallying up the results. The top 20 (before it was 10) results are shown off along with various bits of demographic information.

The previous survey results should still up on the Mangagamer blog if you're curious. IIRC, they started doing them in 2015. I remember this because from the 2nd survey on, Rance was on top due to MG's partnership with AS starting in 2015.

@16 If nothing else, if the Rance remakes are announced this year, you never have to see it in the survey ever again. Well, unless 04 happens at some point in the future, but I kind of doubt it.
