< report >According to a new Messiah, RoByte, Ore Imouto will be translated. While he honestly stated"Haven't had any luck extracting the script so I decided to post my findings so far and recruit some help. " He has create a page in TLwiki . Based on what he wrote, there is 99 percent that he is the translator of this project, the only thing left is to extracting the scripts ( well, it's such a small thing.....Hopefully this will be released in the next 10 years...or so)

Next, anybody has any ideas of where I can buy this game? I have no experience whatsoever when it comes to importing PSP games from Japan. As the importing price might be too high, where shall I find the download version? From PSP Store?

< report >Dunno about it being available for download at PSN, but you can get a copy over PlayAsia.

< report >Ore Imouto is unavailable in some region in the world (Uk for example). As PlayAsia refuse to let me import the game to Britain, there's nothing more I could do to obtain this game.

For those who have been in this position, apparently, there's a way to bypass the region locked in PSN (PSP Strore) to download games from Japan.

This topic discussed how to deal with region-locked, and the site is reliable. I 'll try to do the things to see if I can get this novel.

For those who want to use this, remember, the price is even higher than import. PlayAsisa sold the game for 80 dollars (without import price), while PSN sold it for 135 dollars (downloading). But even the import isn't anywhere near 40 dollars ( that's just weird, but 11004 yen, I believe is equal to 134.something dollars). Your call!

PS:thanks ahaz anyway.Last modified on 2011-03-02 at 03:02

< report >Wow, seriously? PlayAsia refusing to send to UK?
Are you sure? I've never heard of that.

By the way, Jaoanese PSN isn't region locked.
All you need to do is register. There isn't any checks of whatever sort.

Wow, seriously? PlayAsia refusing to send to UK?

Yeah, they said something like: This product is unavailable in your region, and my region is set to Uk (in their system)

By the way, Jaoanese PSN isn't region locked.

The first time I try to register Jp PSN, it said that I can not, but for now, it seems that they have delete the whole region-check.

Thank you anyway, It seems that I must wait for at least 3-4 months to buy this game.

< report >I'd recommend not buying it until the tl is finished. I mean, he hasn't even extracted the scripts yet, so there isn't even a project >.>

< report >Actually, lomrade saberger typed the first post of this thread from the far future. Future VNDB has a feature that lets users to post and create threads to the past without the aid of time machines.

Well, its really misleading but he's telling the truth. We don't know, the TL patch may already been out on his time reference.
What's so good about TL'ing non ero VNs anyway? >_>

< report >@8: What's so good about translating books, non-ero manga and anime anyway?
Sorry, that was ironic, right? Right?

Generally nice to see a project like this, but it will be hard. I don't think there's a good emulator yet and without those, hacking is a real pain in the ass. (After all testing is HARD)

< report >So, four years after the thread started the patch finally arrived, though it only covers the original game. Still it might be worth a look.

[edit]: While I'm not personally interested in this game, some guys asked about it on another forum and so I tested it out, and it seems like the game works perfectly fine on ppsspp, so I thought I share the info here as well if you wondered whether it runs on an emulator.
