Indeed, Seinarukana has issues regarding it's pacing and SoL section.
Regardless, the gameplay has significantly improved~

Aselia is only better in terms of its character progression and overall narration. My little sister find the first one boring though.

No wonder you found the Seinarukana boring.

Personally my only main issue about Seinarukana is how they disregard character progression and just went straight to shounen trope.

Nozumu suddenly learning how to fight with two swords when Yuuto literally taking years just to master one attack. And he's only using one sword.

And how, for some reason, all the rank 3~1 eternity swords had gathered around Nozumu. Wait I think it was explained. I should probably replay Seinarukana when I had the chance.

No No I loved seinarukana it was great...until I beat the third batch of the big bads and then new big bads were introduced that were for real this time the biggest and the baddest. Yea after going through 12 cycles of the same bull shit I got dead tired of it. I can forgive if they did it once or twice...but when you beat the main antagonist just to learn they were henchmen to the big bad all along, and keep in mind you never see anything alluding to this. then yea any of that emotional investment went down the drain real fast! Honestly I think I was on the very last mission on my first play through. The mission area was a bunch of weird cubes and we were inside the tree thingy after the weird god people and it really felt like the end (but with that game who the hell knows ^^;) but I hit that mission and even though I was liking the heroine. I just got....really really sick of the game I couldn't stand the idea of playing a single bloody mission and just click click clicking for half an hour again. I dropped the game and never did finish the run. and honestly who cares the game wouldnt have ended. I'd have saw new bad guys controling the big bad's great great great anchestor come to eat the world or some stupid shit. But yea up to that point the game was great XD

I see. Fortunately what happened to Seinarukana has nothing to do with Shin'yaku Eien no Aselia -The Spirit of Eternity Sword- . Only that Seinarukana discussed more about Eternal Sword, How Eternals was born and Euphoria and Kaori(I think this is probably the only great thing about Seinarukana)

My favorite route in Aselia was Tokimi. I truly respect how she can love a single person for dozens of decades and staying true to her feelings. I can't do that.

edit: Secondly I also like Kaori's subroute in Aselia's Route as it adds more character progression regarding Yuuto(I recommend doing Aselia's route very very last as it allows you to add Kaori on your party). Sadly the closest thing that this game has to offer in regard to Kaori is the bad end. That wasn't even in JAST or Dakkodango's version.Last modified on 2019-05-09 at 04:33

I wanted to try Chaos;Child since my little sister is flooding my wall with memes about it last year. But I'm really busy with my job. I still have to finish Imouto o Kegashita Kioku , Tsuushinbo ~Mama ni mo Naisho no Jikanwari~ and Erohon o Sutete kara Ani no Yousu ga Okashii with my very spare time. I also have to clear my bounties on ExH.

edit: But I'm planning on trying the game this year~Last modified on 2019-05-09 at 04:50

Chaos;child is by far the most immaculate mystery story i have ever had the pleasure of reading i ask you to play it even a day earlier NAY IMPLORE YOU!
The game is a literal marvel of greatness! Its only downside is it takes alittle too long to pick up. But once it does!

Also wish i had your bro doesnt like anime and i know noone in real life who likes anime as much as me let along even knows what a vn is....i feel really alone.Last modified on 2019-05-09 at 04:54

I understand, I'll pause my playlist and will see to it this month.

It's nothing special, while we do share the same hobbies, we don't get along and only speaks about each other either if it's about a VN, anime or a game. Otherwise we'll pass by each other on a mall without even looking at each other.

edit: forgive me for my long replies, I need to go. I'll be back by tomorrow.Last modified on 2019-05-09 at 04:58
