It seems like the game uses Ren'Py for the English release and KiriKiri for the JP release. Strange.

all of cherry kiss' games do iirc-- i guess it's for compatibility?

That makes sense, I believe KiriKiri can have trouble on systems without Japanese locale. I'm just getting familiar with engines and was surprised to see it.

They also make android ports as well as Linux. Thats why they use Rempy. They also make the sprites moves their mouth and blink so they are basically pretying the games (Can be toggled off if you dont like it).
And if the protagonist is nameless they give them a name and lets you name tbe MC.

You can side note I think say feature is droid/linux only. I know some ps vita games has features not include in pc version.

That could work but the problem is most people will tag away since they dont know the differences.
