< report >The game has been officially underwent a translated process, by HGTP, a new group.

The game boasted to be one of the best Netorare game, and was created by Elf. I came across lots of good words that used to describe the awesomeness of this novel.

Eventhough the project was only started 4 days ago (2/3/11), we can surely look forwards to receiving the translated version.

Good luck to the translators!

< report >For the umpteenth time, it's not netorare heavy (there's two bad endings only about that out of the craploads of endings).
If you anticipate it to be full of it then you gonna be disappointed. Game is more of a netori-kind due to its underlying setting and due to the various stuff in last chapter.

So you say the game leans more towards having someone's girlfriend gets rape by me than having someone rape my girlfriend? Then I surely am disappointed.

But well, lots of people praise this game for the scenario and characters, so maybe I can squeeze something out of this novel for satisfactory.

How I hope there will be an English translated version of some heavy Netorare games.

PS: thanks for your inputs.

< report >Personally. I hate NTR so it's good to know there isn't much of that in this game. I might check it out if the translation group actually finishes the whole thing (whenever that might be).
For those interested, check out link for a "preview" of the game.

< report >I just curious, so surferboy, you are free not to answer this question if it deems too personal to you.

Why did you hate Netorare and have no qualms against Netori? Aren't they suppose to be the same concept with opposite meanings?

< report >@5 It's not that I have no qualms against Netori, it's more that I find it...acceptable...if the VN is worth reading for other reasons (good plot, nice artwork). I still dislike any scenario of someone's girl getting stolen.

< report >I'm pretty interested in this game and was planning on starting it in Japanese soon. I guess I'll see if this translation project goes anywhere or if it dies early on like most.

I'll admit that the game first caught my attention because I thought it was NTR, but now I'm just interested in the game itself.

< report >You know why I've been interested in this game for quite a while now? The box art. I also really dig the over all art style, now if it can tell a good story then I'm all in. Of course, that depends on if the translation even finishes or not.

< report >Seeing as HGTP is a funded project, which pretty means that in a sense, the group is another Dark Translation, then I think the project will absolutely be finished (of course, if and only if the whole C &D thinggy will not happen).

< report >This VN caught my attention but not my interest. I mean, man! What's so good about NTR? Don't you have fear for std? Tell you what, licking cunts that has been violated by some other man's manhood is like indirectly licking that some other man's manhood... or something like that.

@izmos
About the story, how's the level of "dark" elements? ...or just its gabe's fluffiness scale?

< report >I don't want to spoil it much. The game is like mainly about The biggest slut I have ever seen craving about protag's cock, seducing him away, and do various stuff for her she'd want him to. That's why I consider it more of a netori, but you won't see him banging anyone with their rightful husband/BF in the room crying in the corner and be depressed like it's cliche'd in netorare/netori games. It's only in the setting and underlying stuff that you don't know for a good while.
How dark? There's rape in bad ends (gangrapes too). Protag can be a rapist easily in bad ends. There's murder too but there's no gore cg.Last modified on 2011-03-07 at 06:42

< report >I embrace the fluffiness, gentleness, moeness, cuteness, <censored>ness of the lolicon philosophy. So I, soketsu-desu, shalt not ever read this one.

Thanks, anyway.^^

Sorry to say, but if I remember it right, this project was dropped due to Asqualla taking on more than he could finish (underestimating the project).

I guess, HGTP english patch will not come. Move along people.
Maybe some one else will pick it up. Some time.. TT

< report >This game is very much playable through machine translation IMO so if anyone is still interested, agth it away.

It's not really an NTR game though. I can only recall 2 scenes in total (both inbad ends) that are NTR. One comes relatively early in the game. The other... I'll leave you to find it.

I'm not going to say anymore - this is one of those games where pretty much anything you say about it will completely ruin the experience.Last modified on 2011-09-08 at 18:44

< report >If a team is already doing it, there is no need to use machine translation. But if you were able to read it like that and enjoy it, it's good for you.

< report >No, the team isn't doing it. The one who was to do the translation (Asqualla) dropped it as it was too much for him. So with that out of the picture, HGTP is purely Rance right now.

So if a mod sees this, they can delete the English patch as it's not going to happen.Last modified on 2011-09-08 at 20:46

< report >I misunderstood, I thought HGTP would still translate it. Well then, too bad.
In this case thanks for the advice qwertas, I am quite interested in this VN.

< report >I hope this is getting translated as it still says HGTP are still working on it. I however don't keep track of them so if they aren't please let me know. I've already got my hands on the game though I haven't given myself into machine translation yet. I've yet to use machine translation and I would like to keep it that way.

Just learn Japanese. The language in Biniku no Kaori is some of the easiest I've seen.

I'm pretty sure this is false. Elf's writer uses fairly sophisticated language, especially in the narrative. I don't think it's any easier than Oyako Rankan.Last modified on 2016-05-06 at 22:25

< report >Huh. I don't remember it being particularly easy. Certainly nowhere as easy as a game like Shiny Days.
