So I was searching for a visual novel I played sometime between 2012 and 2015, I looked for all the tags I could remember about the game but I did not find it. I have a really vague memory about the game, but it was something about the main character going to a boarding school, the hole plot is about him studying and getting stronger relationships with the other students, and discovering about a murder that has happened in the school after you get there. At the end, based on your choices, you need to guess who murdered the unknown student, and if you guess right, it's the protagonist . That's about it what I remeber about the game; If someone could help me find this game, I would be really appreciated.Last modified on 2019-08-29 at 05:33

Sounds a bit like Divi-Dead, though that's a pretty old VN.

I love Divi-Dead so much. The twist is incredible and the suspense filled plot culminates in perfectly orchestrated chaos. I was so inspired by the premise of Divi-Dead I researched ancient grimoires including the infamous Black Bible. Eventually I started performing my own black magic rituals, summoning all sorts of demons to impose my dark desires unto the world. I soak my clothes in the incense of my unholy rituals before I go off to perform my mundane tasks. People always compliment my cologne but those fools don't even know it's coated in the ethereal darkness of my soul and that they're being corrupted just by being in my presence.

Divi-dead is the greatest visual novel I have ever read.

Doesn't seem to be Divi-Dead, but it seems to be a good game, I'm sure going to play it.

I remembered more about the game, there was something mysthical about a sakura forest that had in the school's property, and something to do with the killing, if i remember correctly. Also, I think the title of the game had the word "Sakura" on it, but maybe I'm wrong. The title screen also had a lot of pink, maybe something to do with the sakura trees. I played it for free on the computer and it looked like it has a PS2 or PS3 support too.Last modified on 2019-08-29 at 17:13

I take it you read it in english? Knowing the language would narrow it down significantly.

If it's not Wind -A Breath of Heart-, i have no idea. Funny thing is that Inkey University completely fits your plot description, but it's not in english.

There is a really "obscure" visual novel that i remember playing a long time ago. All I know about it is that was released between 2003-2007 and a rewrite occurred around 2011 and that one of the characters is this girl: link. I would really appreciate if anyone knows the name. Also the rewrite was released on ps2, pc and psp

That looks like Alpha's work. It's Tamayura.
