Date format is different when overing than when displaying.
Yeah... I'm using the browser's native date input and it tends to not use the YYYY-MM-DD format. There's no real way for me to fix that other than by writing my own date input widget.

About the problem of having everything together
I'll keep the "My visual novel list", "My votes" and "My wishlist" links in the profile menu, and link them to the new list with filters and specific columns applied when this goes live - that should hopefully mitigate the "everything on one page" effect. Not sure an elaborate "custom views" is worth it though. I mean, browsers do have bookmarks.

Graphical view like the VNDB Extender add-on?
I'm thinking about it, but it's quite a bit of work. :(

When you update filters it should maintain whatever sort you have selected.
It should, will fix!

and it set that as the release for all the games contained in the archives
If you have that release, you have all VNs in that release. It's also how the current visual novel list works.

I had the label column take up twice as much room as the title column!
Sounds only fair when it contains twice as much text. Admittedly not ideal, but setting a maximum width may cause more columns to wrap and increase vertical space. Table layout is always painful. :(

Why not apply the changes directly when you select/deselect a label?
Updating filters needs a page refresh. Fixing that involves rewriting the entire page in Javascript, but then it'd become impossible to browse lists with JS disabled. :(
(Yes, that is something I care about. I really dislike how the modern web needs JS for every damn thing)

right now you have to disable everything else first.
There is a "select/deselect all" button.

Lots of other good feedback here. I'm not sure I'll be able to incorportate everything, certainly not at the start, but I'll keep it mind.

Bunch of changes:
- Customizable columns.
- Added vote date, last modified, VN release date and rating columns.
- Expanded view now takes much less space for the notes editor and "add release" link.
- Sort by label column (kind of experimental, not sure this is the best way to handle grouping)
- Added some "proposed menu links" to the info box.
- Removed the notes icon as it was redundant.
- Automatically focus label edit field when adding a new label.
- Keep the sort column when changing filters.
