So, *this* happened on 2019-12-20...
Have been thinking about rereading the first instalment (been six years..., need a refresher course) for quite a while - since I haven't yet had the pleasure of being smashed into bits emotionally by the second episode, and it has been a long time coming...
Does anyone know of an effort from some diehard-most-respectable-fans+modders perchance working on a "port"?
I mean a couple months more of waiting wouldn't even be noticable now, if a much more immersive (re)experience would ultimately be available...
Any info appreciated!Last modified on 2020-01-07 at 02:03

I was actually looking into porting over the translation to the HD version myself, but while going through it, I discovered that they also made improved direction changes. There's new scenes, some original scenes are rearranged, and I'm sure some lines are changed as well. We'd need someone who can translate to help work on a potential patch.

Good news! I definitely will reread Cartagra and Kara no Shoujo. And yes, who can port translation and translate new parts also? It would be great present for all fans indeed!!

Hold your horses with the hype, risus! :)
This is actually a bit of a mixture of good AND bad news. The good news is that there is actually more to this new version than first meets the eye (or ear - with regards to the detective getting a voice here), and there is someone who would be willing to try his hand at porting the ENG (huge props, poutchouli!!), but going by what he said it would be a much bigger task than anticipated.
And yeah, would need someone who could actually TL.
I have almost zero knowledge about scripts and programming sadly, so forgive if it's a noob question: is there even a (semi-)automatic way of going over the Japanese scripts looking for differences, or would it have to be fine-combed through? Because that's... Oh boi... xD

I perfectly understand all this. If needed, I can help with what I can.
