I want to see what would happen if you actually win battles that should be unwinnable. Whether they only lead to a softlock, an error or if they can somehow contain secret dialogues.Last modified on 2020-03-26 at 19:00

An interesting question, I'm not certain how the engine works off the top of my head but it's usually not absurdly difficult to modify a few stat values within the game files, assuming it uses an actual RPG system. That said, it's not unusual for "unwinnable" battles to transition into the same event, regardless of how the battle ended, the end of the battle will actual be the trigger, not the loss itself.

You don't even need to hack really. Once you beat the final entry in the three parts, you unlock a one hit kill mode that wins every fight by one shotting everything. I don't remember how the game handled that for fights you lose in story, but it definitely doesn't error or anything.

#3 I tried the very first Alice fight you can encounter (the one where you don't help her when she's on the ground) and it did nothing. That's basically the only fight I remember so far that relies on you losing the battle anyway. But I assume other battles where you're also supposed to lose will be the same even on EX mode. That's why I would want a way to hack the game and see if there's anything to it.

Nvm, used ol' good Cheat Engine on first Alice battle and saw that nothing really happens, you can't win the battle at all. The moment you enter the battle, it's all scripted, no matter the HP bars. Maybe on Part 1, you can hack it to win, but someone else said that it would just result in a crash.
