< report >So I'm really curious about the "The release alters one scene depicting physical discipline to minors, if you select to play in English. The game is uncensored if played in Chinese or Japanese." scene
Could somebody please describe the difference between EN and JP in this scene in details?
You see, I'm really OCD about not playing translated releases if they drastically alter or censor something

< report >I'd have to check one of the anime adaptation episodes about it, but that censored scene is a spanking punishment scene dealt to Anju by Munechika. In the JP release, it's longer and somewhat fanservicey (at least from my knowledge). But in the EN release, it only showed the 1st CG of the scene and then faded to black with a spank sound.
edit: found it. it's episode 11 if you're curious. it's fanservicey and comedic with little to no impact on the story.Last modified on 2020-08-31 at 14:16

< report >That black screen is gonna bother me XD, so JP with VNR it is.
Gay scene, eh? I'm interested, mind elaborating? (FYI I got really salty about Tenioha EN release dropping the trap ending)

< report >@3 Why would they censor the gay scene? Westerners are only sensitive to anything related to minors, everything else is fine, even bestiality, let alone gay scenes.
@4 Do you really just decided to play the JP version because of one minor comedic fanservice scene? The game doesn't even have any sex in it, lol.
p.s. Completely unrelated to the discussion, but only now after checking the characters page did I realize that the main antagonist of the third game reminds me of young Vladimir Putin. xDLast modified on 2020-09-01 at 05:26

< report >if you talk about Steam en vs. Steam jpn/china thats the only thing censored,
if you talk steam vs. ps4 jpn the its american "localization" standard:
rewrites - complete change of "depresion"/hate when he find out truth and other places
changes/cut of some events
and the most ovious of "translating" so that you create specific opinion about specific events/characters etc. (never wondered why is Kuon so overwhelmingly popular in Eng and people who only count on subtitles)?
oh and chinsese censorship (albeit that mostly in FnH) you dont seriously think Jpns have this: most important thing in life country, now do you?
