Changes between base game and R?

< report >Okay so obviously D.C.III's base game did not have H-scenes and R - X-Rated does. But I see that D.C.III R also got an all-ages release at the same time (hence why "X-Rated" is literally in the title of the H version), and so I'm just wondering, other than the addition of H-scenes, how much changed? Does R have more scenarios that weren't in the base game? Or did the routes theselves get any significant overhauls? I am assuming that it would not be on the same level as the Plus Situation/Communication ports of 1 and 2 which for all intents and purposes added an entire extra game's worth of content on top of what was already there, but I just want to know if things were substantially different or if it just got minor tweaks.

< report >In the case of the added scenario. The only added really was the "Side Episode".
Explaining some of character's backstory and a glimpse of Sakura-chan's perspective after the events of that magical night.

Other than the removal of cast interviews. There isn't much changes from the base game story. Some CG/UI rework, added songs and story bits to shove those H-scenes. (and maybe some bits from r21581)

And the whole P.C. thing for III indirectly happened in the Fandisks.

< report >Ah, yes, I do seem to recall hearing something about characters who are IN the base game but don't have dedicates routes, later getting routes of their own in the spinoffs. But so basically there are a few new scenes here and there and updates to the presentation, but the game as a whole is largely the same thing?

Really I was mostly just curious so I could maybe get some idea as to how much I could reasonably hope for in terms of overhauls for the upcoming re-release of 4. (Which, in its present state, I would describe as having a lot of interesting ideas but being at times pretty unpolished in its execution. Some of that I feel there is hope might get improved upon, but I guess some of the more major gripes I have with the game are just there to stay.)

Yes. And honestly i wouldn't be surprised if they do this again with D.C.4.

Maybe this time i guess the H-scene parts will be the "Side Episode" if the remake story ends up unchanged.
