The closest we get is in the discussion between Himeo's father and her uncle (reading between the lines). There's also Osamu's own thoughts about this at the end. Also, given Maruto's writing, Himeo admitting it was all a lie suggests that it's a truth (if that makes any sense..). Anyway, we don't really get conclusive evidence.
