< report >#6 it's the jp translation of link, but the "女の子" (girl) is translated as "I" there. however, if you hover at the other stats (and maybe you know, play the game properly? unlike Darwin-kun there), you would know that the stats are for Ame-chan and it was Ame-chan refering to herself.

< report >My apologies. After properly download and play the game for a few minutes, it seems that P is more of a self-insert player character, I’ll edit my votes.

< report >I thought this tag was about the heroine at first, which is why I was disgusted. If this tag is about Pi, I still doubt lesbian sex could have enough power to it to shake the bed like that. Who is the protagonist in this story anyway, the angel, or the pi we barely see.

< report >#10, It's not up to our opinions to decide if lesbians can shake their beds when they fuck (lol). If the gender isn't clearly stated somehow other than implication like bed shaking which can be still caused by lesbian sex too IMO, then it's unknown. Pi is the protagonist because it's the point of view of the story.Last modified on 2022-06-20 at 13:52

< report >She's clearly getting dicked by Pi. It's so transparent it barely needs being argued over. They discuss being married even. Do you need to see her getting dicked on camera to say "yes, Pi is male", or would you still argue "what if that's a dildo or tentacles"? Fucking muttlands

With how many western games and visual novels I played this past 2 years, I say yes, it needs to be stated by in-game text or gameplay if there aren't character sprites or CG of protagonist, or at the very least confirmed by the developer.
And I would apply this to Japanese games too, I mean, Is there a problem if there's a JP game where the gender of any character is unknown?
They discuss being married even.
Lesbians can get married, and in some countries they are allowed to adopt children. And again, I've seen games where this happened, so not weird at all.Last modified on 2022-06-20 at 15:10

What century are you living? It's 2022, lesbians can get married in many places.

Assuming the game is set in current Japan, homosexual couples actually can't get married.
A court in Osaka ruled that it would be "unconsitutional", as ridiculous as that sounds.

However, this does not necessarily mean that "P-chan" is definitely male.
A female P-chan could be talking to Ame-chan about a future where it would be possible for them to eventually get married.

Therefore, the "Unknown Gender Protagonist" tag is absolutely warranted.
OP can downvote it all he likes, but it doesn't change the fact its place in the tags section is valid.Last modified on 2022-06-20 at 17:47

< report >I believe "P-chan" is meant to be a self-insert of sorts. The player is meant to reflect onto them, hence why no specific gender is given for them.

And lesbians can get married.

#10 - I'd say P is the protagonist, as you play as them. Wouldn't Ame be considered a heroine? You don't play as her, although P does kinda control her.

As I said, "Assuming the game is set in current Japan, homosexual couples actually can't get married."
That includes lesbian couples, they can't get married, yet.
Only 9 out of 47 prefectures even recognise same-sex partnerships, but those partnerships don't have the same rights a heterosexual marriage has.
Under the current rules, same-sex couples are not allowed to legally marry, can't inherit their partner's assets, and have no parental rights over their partner's children.

If you have information refuting mine that proves lesbian marriage to be legal in Japan please give me the source, I'd love to be wrong.

And yeah, P-chan is obviously a self-insert and therefore their gender is unknown.Last modified on 2022-06-20 at 20:38
