< report >So I just want to make sure about one thing on this site I'm lumped in with the likes of this guy

link

who just copy-pastes the script onto DeepL and calls it a day?

and BTW I just need this clarification I'm neither angry nor care enough about this.

If that's how it is here I'll just label them as MTL from now on though you should really differentiate between quality IMO.

< report >Hi there,

yup, there is no difference in the DB for whether a MTL release is edited or not - there is only one flag.
If you want to try and change that (doubt you will succeed, but feel free to give it a go) you can try hitting the forums. t16054 was recommended by Ileca in one of his edits, so probably the best place to start.

The MTL flag is not supposed to serve as a means to tell if a translation is good or not. It only tells you if the translation is... well... MTL.Last modified on 2022-11-26 at 19:26

< report >Yeah, not gonna bother with that if you want to mislead your user base by mass labelling things feel free to do so.

Oh about the free tag I was using that because the partials I was posting are for free again if that's not how it works my bad.

< report >Actually, I remembered there is one way you can make it more obvious that those releases are edited MTL - by creating an unofficial edition of the VN and adding yourself as an editor. See d2#3.3

The release entries I edited were labeled as complete, so thats what I went by. You are free to copy them and make partial entries for your free to download patches as well if you want.

< report >Right my bad, this website has an interface from 1995 so it's kinda hard to read/ use I guess they never figured out Webdesign is a thing lol

I'll try to do the unofficial edition you mentioned and sorry in advance if I mess anything up.
