< report >Since this game has the same settings with Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai, I have the assumption that the MC will be written in the same style with Hoshiori MC. But how's it actually?
I personally don't dislike it or anything. But the MC in Hoshiori is too damn unrelatable. He's from wealthy family, smart, has a lot of friends, good looking and quite optimistic with his capabilities and future career. Basically the someone 'beyond the world' for me. Reading the prologue of the story in Hoshiori kinda makes me wanna cry because I look like a failure compared to this guy.
From the character description, it looks like MC is honor student like the Hoshiori MC, but if this MC in this VN has a little down to earth background (or any significant weakness that makes him look imperfect), I might want to try.Last modified on 2023-01-25 at 06:37

< report >Relatability is not equal to a good characterization. That being said Gin'iro protagonist is pretty much in the same wavelength as hoshiori's, albeit he is adapting to his new family so he's not "perfect" from the get go

< report >IIRC Yukito is more down to earth compared to Ryousuke. He's overall good-natured, too good-natured in fact (which has something to do with [minor common route spoilers] his family breaking up in the past, leading to trauma, worries, and anxieties). He still don't have his future planned up, pretty much directionless, different from how Ryousuke turned out in HoshiOri. For me, quite relatable in some sense? Don't know if those are the imperfections that you are looking for, tho.Last modified on 2023-01-25 at 10:31

< report >They both are quite different, also Ryuu decided to be a architect no matter which route but yuukito changes his dream and profession according to with whome he ends up with
I like both of them tbh

< report >Indeed, "relatable" does not necessarily a good character make. For example, I'm pretty sure none of us are billionaires with a genius-level intellect, the greatest detective mind the world has ever seen, and a physique trained to the absolute limit of human capability.
Yet Batman is still an awesome character.
