I add promising stuff that is only announced on Reddit and I don't see a problem with that. And yes, entries without producers are perfectly allowed. The rule you are quoting was made for translators who tend to start stuff for the social boost but never achieve anything. I have never been bothered by too many VN to delete. It's been my understanding that it's not appropriate to add that sort of game unless the developer has a track record of having made SOMETHING. Same for kickstarter games. If it's a total nobody who's never made a game and there's no demo and the project is pretty clearly going to fail, I'm not going to add a listing. I don't go out of my to hunt down ones where the dev has added themselves here though, I only flag them if I stumble across them randomly and the project appears to have gone dead. |
