I think modifications are not needed here. There are literally hundreds mods for this novel - if we allow it here, we should allow all extra scenarios for MGQ, for example, as separate entries as well 0_0 Maybe as new release type if mod is large enough is more appropriate.. I don't know..
P.S.: I've just created special tag for them Modifications - I think it should be enough. .. How long this moderation queue will be? 0_0Last modified on 2017-07-07 at 08:05

Please remove this redundant entry link
It'll be a multi-language release, so I just added Czech language into the English version link

Muv-Luv Photonflowers* and Muv-Luv Photonmelodies♮.
Collection of stories that were already included in previous releases with no original content, I don't think they should have their own VN entries.
Making the Japanese version a partial release of the original VNs is simple enough but there is a problem with the upcoming English bundles (r43062, r43353, r43532)
You can't set them as partial releases since they contain a complete Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative but marking it as complete would make it look like they contain a complete version of the VNs the stories are originally from.
Waiting for opinions about what to do with these entries.

Given that it's a full game sold, I'm not so hot about the partial here either, especially as it's a console release of stuff that had no console version before. In other words, the stuff it doesn't contain of whatever it ported is not available on consoles.
I feel it'd get too messy to kill these entries and trying to settle it with releases. Then again, Muvluv is generally messy...

I've played this and don't think it should be here. Sex scenes are narrated, but most of the game is about RPG turn-based battles.
Crimson games tend to follow the same format which is probably why only a small selection of the circle's games are listed here.

I made this earlier seeing it on link, but no release entry was there when I checked the 0verflow website.

So it's allowed on this database? Previously when this game came up I said it was mostly RPG with no combat. Only the sex scenes resemble anything close to the criteria for a VN.

Not so much "allowed", as someone jumped the gun and added the game without thinking much.
While I haven't played the game, I remember you mentioning that it's not a VN on that other thread, so I'll have to trust your judgement and delete the entry.

What do you think about Unhack?
It's a puzzle game with VN-style dialogues. The only part of the game that has narration is an ending of the last level/episode.
There is a demo version if you want to check it by yourself: linkLast modified on 2017-07-21 at 06:05

So what about Unhack? Because I don't see how it can be considered a VN by VNDB standards.

The website calls it a VN very clearly. If the creator themselves says it's a VN, it should probably be on the database.

VNDB has its own standards for what makes a VN, which may or may not reflect individual creators' definitions of a visual novel. I've played loads of "RPG/visual novels" that turned out to just be dialogue-heavy RPGs.
I haven't played the game in question, so idk whether it's a VN, I just wanted to point out that what the creator says isn't particularly relevant here.

Can you also post a proper source for this edit? link
The official website link credits "桐ノ小島翼" not "中村 繪里子" (Nakamura Eriko) and this name does not appear in the list of aliases you posted. Can you post a source that they are the same person?
