S;G Endings

I had finished the game once. At first I thought the game only has one ending, but when I checked the "Clear Data" tab on the menu, I realized that it has up to 6 different endings.

The question I want to ask is just how to access to different ending, apart from the obvious 1st one? Does how you respond to all the mails change your ending? Or you must play the game until the sixth times to find out all the endings?

If anybody has the walkthrough (in Jp is fine), I'd be appreciated.

Sometimes you have to ignore the mails. Sometimes you must respond. The mails you ignore and the ones you respond to greatly affect the endings. (can't provide more help atm sorry, hope others have more useful stuff)

Thanks overmage and amestor.

Now just to be sure, only how you respond to the mails change the endings, right?

Honestly, 100%-ing this game without a walkthrough is a serious time-sink, mostly because a lot of the mails are completely ambiguous and one can only find out what they mean via trial and error...
On the other hand, the endings beside the Mayuri and True endings were all rubbish, so it's not even worth the effort... -.-'Last modified on 2011-12-22 at 17:30

2gabezhul:

btw, what version of the translation patch did you use? I mean there are so many of them - from erogedownload, from jp, from e17blogspot, partially edited and nonedited, with old or new bugs.. 0_0 I just don't want to get stuck in the game somewhere.. especially knowing that saves from different versions of patch aren't compatible >_<Last modified on 2011-12-22 at 22:29

You might want to wait a few days. link is predicting a Christmas (bug-free, edited, full) release.Last modified on 2011-12-23 at 12:42

I used the one I found on erogedownload, and I encountered no bugs and only a handful of typos.

The version on erogedownload is the full beta release from the website I linked - unedited and still lacking translating for 'Tips'. Other than that it's fully playable. I'd still wait for the full 'official' release if I were you (just a few days more).Last modified on 2011-12-24 at 11:32

What is the best version of translation patch?
This question is still relevant ) Personally I would like to get version with tips translated, but there are handful of crashing bugs as I hear..

the version from erogedownload works fine for me, thought the TIPs haven't been translated yet and if you try to go to a section somewhere in the config, the game crashes. That to say, that patch works (for what it's supposed to do).

Yeah yeah i now this is dead.

Anyway I have just downloaded the game, not caring about how many bugs I will run into so quick question.

I heard that there are a decent amount of bad endings in SG. Is this true?

Errr... Hard question. Depends o what you consider "bad ending"... Technically, all the endings beside Mayuri's and the True end are downer ending to a degree, but for actual bad endings...
...
Honestly, I haven't ran into even one, so I cannot really say, but even if there are many bad-endings, they are obviously easy to avoid. :P

You god?

Really, without a clear walkthrough, I have no idea what/which dictated the endings that I reached.

About the bad end stuffs, the amount is, well, not too much and not too little (not that I care even if it has no bad ends) Some are sufficient to be call "bad end", some are just so-so.Last modified on 2012-02-12 at 04:29

There are really no bad endings. since if it was about to be a bad end he would just time leap and avoid it. it really isn't bad ends more than character endings which feels lacking.

But really yeah its pretty obvious on second playthrough/skipthrough how to get on the different ends. well except true and kurisu, but I at least guessed saving on all the calls/mails from her, and trial and error the rest without a walkthrough.Last modified on 2012-02-12 at 07:37
