< report >Acutally, this thread was supposed to ask you people if the first chapter only has 1 "good" ending, with only 1 heroine, but since it would be kind of a wasto of space, i decided as well make as an Discussion.

Chapter wan was somehow boring to me.
There were times where i was feeling like skipping some parts just to get with that Chapter done.

Sure, it had some interesting aspects, like Multiple Protagonists' Point of View, and a wide array of possible endings.
Near the end i had pretty much 10 possible endings in my mind.
Let me list them:
1. Sayo's mom killed her, and her father killed her mom.
2. Itsuki killed Sayo, after having her mom killed by her father. (Like, since killing is easy, i'm going to kill you)
3. Sayo killed Itsuki, took her place, and her father killed her mom.
4. Psycho Itsuki. (Killed everyone.) lol
5. Main guy killed Sayo, Itsuki Killed her Mom
6. Main guy killed Sayo, her father killed her mom
7. Psycho main guy.
8. Psycho dad.
9. Mom killed Sayo, Itsuki killed her mom.
10. Itsuki killed Sayo, and her father killed her mother.

After listing all this i feel like i'm talking about school days. lol

Well, summing it all up, i found it good, but nearing regular.

Now, for my question
In my case, the ending i got was: Itsuki died & Sayo woke up.

I was wondering if there wasn't any really good ending, like: The girl on the hospital being Itsuki or Itsuki getting revived.

If not, well thats too bad, and if there is, well, please tell me.

< report >Sorry to disappoint you, but as far as I know, this is the "true" ending of Suika Chapter 1. I've tried to find a walkthrough for this game for some time, and the only one I found was a post on a forum, which also says the same as me.

Well, I don't know if there is another ending, but I don't think so.

So, you could ask:
"Then what are the choices for?"
And I could answer:
"Man, I have noooo idea..."Last modified on 2009-08-09 at 14:53

< report >I like the mystery that it brought about. Leaving the fantasy behind, chapter 1 is a good one though it is quite generic.

The abrupt induction of fantasy in the ending is the thing that make me loose my interest in this VN (tho I cleared the game just for the interest of H-scenes). It is far unrealistic. It It is a fiction, but is is too much of a fiction...Deranged parents and what the hell was that scroll! It is disturbing.

Okay so I re read the ending

< report >It was a scene that was supposed to be deep and philosophical. He leaves her so that he won't be reminded of Itsuki as well as that he was afraid he would hurt her with fake feelings. Itsuki is dead, but she was dead for a long time. The protag's actions cannot change that, and this torments him whenever he looks at her sister. Leaving her behind while keeping his identity secret is the most painless way there is. This is my personal interpretation as a reader.

But think with the mind of a writer for a second. How else would you close this story? If you try to make a disney ending where he stays with her, it would leave at least as many, if not more morality problems. This was the safest way to close a depressing plot while still leaving a faint glitter of light at the end. And more importantly, if he were to stay with her, the ending would have lost even that little impact it had.Last modified on 2010-09-19 at 21:05

< report >I'm hoping they show up in the other chapters...

Or the unlockable side stories.

< report >Yeah I thought they were going to go the predictable route of having him hook up with the other sister, and I'm glad they didn't. It would have made his feelings seem so cheap and would have been disrespectful to both sisters.

And as far as I can remember none of the characters from the first chapter appear later on.

Sayo was my favorite so this may be biased

< report >Also, you guys have to remember he said he wanted her to die; that was one of his wishes (Sayo that is). It seems like he never really loved her back.

He sort of makes that clear during her request to kiss her. And every time he'd stand up for Itsuki, over Sayo, as well at the end by mentioning his wishes; and his quickly leaving without even a second thought when he finds out Sayo is still alive.

Now i'm with alot of you, I loved Sayo she was by far my favorite of that arc, but reality is reality here. :( Not such a happy ending.

< report >I'm not sure if I'm right but I think the game subtly gives a hint that Itsuki's ghost incarnated Chinatsu so that the main guy could have sex with her.
