i gotta say that i really love this VN. Id have to say that this would be my favorite VN if not for Little Busters since there both tied for my all time favorite VN. To bad there wasn't an all ages version since the story was so good it didn't need the sex scenes at all. Plus i loved Asuho root so much :)

I'm still reading it and I'm currently on the common route but I agree that the game is good. I'm liking it quite a bit. The soundtrack really sets a good atmosphere (already got the OST), the heroines seem to be pretty likeable (at least for me), the art is good and the story seems pretty interesting so far. I honestly think that this Visual Novel has great potential.

I'm looking forward to finish all routes.

>implying Chinami isn't best heroine

Ah, opinions, opinions. ;; I agree this one's pretty good so far though. The overabundance of screen effects can get a little annoying at times, but it's a cute game and I'd like to see where the storyline goes ;w; [/hasn't even finished a route whoops]

@5
You have a point there...as many qualms as one may have about SS's translation, at least it's understandable.

Anyone else reading Asuho's name as if it were written in katakana? I can't unsee it now...

So could you please elaborate a bit, what exactly is wrong with this translation? I was considering giving it a try, but seeing you mention AGTH and that "at least it's understandable" is rather... discouraging. -.-'Last modified on 2012-04-06 at 01:18

IMO the translation isn't bad at all. I actually think that it's pretty decent.
Sometimes I notice that a phrase could use a better wording and some expressions seem unusual when reading a Visual Novel. For example, you have a scene where you read "What is this I don't even" and other where you read "You jelly?". Things like that.
Well, generally I don't mind the translation at all and am enjoying the game.

Then again, I don't know japanese so I don't know how accurate the translation really is.

The only thing that I'm complaining so far is the lack of a proper walkthrough in english. I'm only using google translation on the ones available in japanese.Last modified on 2012-04-06 at 01:44

It blocks/censors some CGs, though the censorship isn't difficult to bypass by deleting the graph_vis folder the patch creates. I'm still on the common route, but I haven't noticed anything wrong with the translation so far. My Japanese skills are mediocre at best, but I can usually tell if something is outrageously wrong. I'm not sure what the issue is.

Edit: I do have one minor issue with the line breaks, but it's just an annoyance, not a game breaker. Every time I reboot, I have to rerun the English patch installer for game to see the custom font from the patch. Otherwise the line breaks are all wrong.Last modified on 2012-04-06 at 01:39

Every time I reboot, I have to rerun the English patch installer for game to see the custom font from the patch. Otherwise the line breaks are all wrong.

The solution for that is to install the font manually and it won't happen again. If you can't get your hands in the font go grab 7Zip, extract the english patch executable using it, go to the "$FONTS" folder and install "Staircase Subs Custom.ttf". Make sure that after that in the game options the font is selected.

Thank you for the walkthrough!Last modified on 2012-04-06 at 01:56

Blah I wish I didn't read this x.x; Now every time I read her name in game or hear it, I think exactly what you just said. Blah.

#10 Does the 1.1 patch or the English trans patch block some cg's? if so can you show/tell us of an example? Acutally I looked in said Graph_vis folder, and it seems like 2 of Mare's scenes, this is just a guess since they start like MARE_h##a-j etc. and 2 E which I guess might be an ecchi scene?

Ever if the translation is not perfect, I am still greatful there was one regardless, or else my non-able to read japanese ass would never have been able to enjoy this titleLast modified on 2012-04-07 at 03:07

1.1 patch is an official patch and blocks nothing.

The english patch replaces some loli ecchi scenes with pictures of dolphins. The translator said he did this because in Australia there are harsh child pornography laws and even just him releasing a translation patch could get him in trouble legally (Indirectly supporting CP).

If you have a dolphin fetish, then keep them. You'll be pleasantly surprised. If you want the original CGs, then you need to delete the Graph_vis folder inside the folder your game is installed.

You also need to delete the graph_vis folder at the following location

<USER NAME>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\<LOCATION WHERE YOU INSTALLED THE GAME>\CROSSNET\memoria\graph_vis

Username being your windows username. If you have XP you can skip that step.

On a more on topic side note. I just did the part where Komomo comes into the Tenkuru club and tells everyone that at the start of second semester they are shutting it down and Okaizumi just screams "SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT" with the most ridiculous face. It had me laughing for a bit.Last modified on 2012-04-07 at 04:35

Lol the first time he did that I jumped because I was half asleep and totally not expecting it, then I laughed my ass off. I found my appdata folder under my user however there was no crossnet folder in there at all. Also I can see removing Mare btu what about Chinami and Isuzu? they both look like they are way underaged. Especally Isuzu. Not that I mind though.

I still think though they need to well, be a lil more lax on such laws, its a cartoon character, its art, its not like there was a real model used etc, then again where I am from I have a fairly open mind.Last modified on 2012-04-07 at 17:46

@Siveria, we're not the ones who dictate the law. We should have censored all the sex scenes because every single one of them is an arrestable offence. I suggest that you stop throwing around ignorant comments.

The porn itself is crime after all so cencoring the "vital parts" is the least they can do
