So I finished the game, I enjoyed almost every moment of it.
I chose only the green hallucinations in this playthrough.
The game is freaking long, it took a long time to finish and I'm kind of burned out already. So if I play it again but this time either choose only the red hallucinations or not choose anything at all do I get a different story development or would a lot of the dialogue change? or maybe it will mostly be the same?Last modified on 2012-09-07 at 18:59

If you choose a particular combination of red and green delusions (the ones with Whose Eyes are those Eyes scenes) the 2nd half of the last chapter is completely different.

dont know what ending you got but if it was the good ending you should stop it

from what i remember theres a good ending and a not so good ending and well finishing with the not so good ending would prob leave a bitter taste

sorry forgot to mention I got both the A and the AA ending (I just saved before the decision point). I know that there is a B ending available on a second playthrough, but the game is so long I don't know if it's worth to play again just for that.

I actually liked the A ending too but it felt like it's too short.Last modified on 2012-09-07 at 19:38

Selecting the right delusions is a bit of a chore, definitely use a walkthrough if you want to reach the B ending. IMO it can be skipped though, as iirc it's a bad ending.Last modified on 2012-09-07 at 20:01

I remember reading in a forum that the B ending was marked the True End in the scripts.

B ending is fucking horrible. There is no reason to toil for it, especially if you feel burned out.
Take into account that only the ending will be different, the core game will be mostly the same and that you won't be able to use the skip function as it skips all the triggers. Are you sure you really want such a challenge?

That's what I wanted to know, is the game completely changes if I make some alternative choices on a second playthrough. But since it doesn't I can just skip through most of the text.Last modified on 2012-09-08 at 05:56

So, people are shooing you away from the route since it's the same scenario with a trollish bad end and a waste of time, and all you get out of that is "Goody, if the story is the same then I can skip to the trollish bad end and waste my time!"...? Seriously, WTF?

No it's not that at all. The thing is that this game is really freaking long, and if it stays the same no matter what choices you make (besides the B and the bad ending), and I have other games I want to play, so the best solution is to just skip through most of the dialogue and try the other choices. I just want to see what will happen if I select the red hallucinations or don't select anything at all, most of the resulted scenes are short and come right after you make your choice.

I am in no way saying the game is bad or anything like that, I loved every moment of it, I simply want to move on to other games, that's all.Last modified on 2012-09-08 at 07:34

Maybe what he meant is that you should follow the advices and stay away from the trollish bad end.

Exactly, though it really saddens me that something like this has to be spelled out... -.-

I've seen the anime, and I found it stupid. Should I play this vn or I'll be disappointed again?

The anime is known for being a horrible adaptation. Maybe you read the vn you'll end up liking it a bit more. I thought it was pretty neat.

Anime = 4-5 hours.
VN = 20-25 hours.
Do the maths. :P

Anime can't be even compered with the VN, it's just awful (I only skipped through some episodes though). It contains some spoilers, but give the VN a try anyway. From the very beginning you should notice the differences in storyline and the atmosphere in general.Last modified on 2013-01-11 at 17:31

The second ending is just...boring, imho. I wonder why would they even write it, the whole story is almost the same except for the ending, and the ending is so... PLAIN, ughh.. Definetly not worth playing, esp. taking into account all those f*cking problems while skipping like *it doesn't stop before the choice* and *you cannot save in the 7th chapter so if you forgot to save before it and screwed this chapter's choices - start from the f*cking beginning, my dear*

What's the trigger combination for AA and B ending? I can't get a clue...

For AA you have to get all the questions in that final scene right.
For B you have to get enough "whose eyes are those eyes" delusions triggers (usually they're red, but sometimes green; check a WT)
