@barfboy: thank you, this one can work. In the case I found it's a form of "consensual" Monster Breeding after sexual corruption so probably adding a Monster Breeding alias to that one could work.
It's more like Livestock (Consensual) (to be precise more like a "Livestock (Choukyou Variation)" ) but sadly I just saw that the trait was denied. The character "consensually" engages in monster breeding to make an army and it's not recluse in fact quoting that trait "she retains their individual human rights but still allows themselves to be treated as property by others".

For Clothing we have Pantyjob which covers panties but it has also pantyhose and stockings in the aliases...not sure about skirt.Last modified on 2020-01-03 at 21:06

It wasn't denied, it was deleted. If I remember correctly the reason wass that I could see the writing on the wall about it: people started to use it for mindbroken characters and the like, plus there was a bit of confusion over the whole thing, so I figured it'd be safer to just... not have this distinction.

@warfoki: ok I understand, can I add Monster Breeding as an alias or is better to propose a new trait for it?

How involved does a man need to be in a sex scene for the girls to receive the Lesbian Sex trat?
Because they won't stop arguing with each other the MC forces Rougamine Ooko to have sex with Eleonora Vletoblood and while the two are engaged in 69 oral sex with each other he puts his penis in Ooko. So is it still lesbian sex even though he's involved directly with one of the girls? I'm not certain where lesbian sex trait ends and group sex begins in this case.

@barfboy: Easy. Both group sex and lesbian sex apply.Last modified on 2020-01-09 at 19:57

Does Torn Clothing (damaged) need the (damaged) at the end? Is it supposed to be used only for clothes that has become ripped during the course of the game, because there's nothing in the description about that.
And Pendant Earring should be plural 'Pendant Earrings'.Last modified on 2020-01-13 at 22:54

Can "May also be used by non identical twins that look alike" to
Twin Switch
Because it's being used that way (and I think appropriately so) by twins that are very obviously fraternal such as
Tsukioka Akira
and his twin sister
Tsukioka Akiko
and by the twins
Oohinata Toshiya
and his twin sister
Oohinata Rui

and I think that's perfectly fine.

I added Missing Stars characters earlier, and nationalities "Austrian" and "Swiss" were missing from trait pool. Could these get approved already?

@whiic: Oh, you poor lad. I'll refer you to an old post of mine, where I answered a similar request as yours t3617.1783. In other news, come back in half a year and maybe we have gotten of our lazy asses to take care of the trait list by that time. :-D

Or maybe I'll just do it now...

@skorpiondeath: Why are you even still posting traits for approval in the trait queue? O.o
You can insta-approve your own traits...
#1938 by skorpiondeath
2020-01-24 at 20:17
Nope I cannot, or at least that's what I have decided. I made an agreement with warfoki that he his in charge of approving traits, mine included (beside maybe the ones I'm super sure of). I'm usually too lenient on traits so being "watched" and moderated is always good... or you will find the worst traits approved.Last modified on 2020-01-24 at 20:19

Sorry this has probably been answered, but if hair colour is clearly an unnatural colour (e.g. blue/purple) but the game's writing claims it's brown or black, do you list the colour you see or the colour it says it is? What about in the case where there are other colours who are said to have black/brown hair with hair actually looking black/brown as well in the game?
#1941 by eacil

What matters is what it looks like, not the opinion of an in-game color blind character or narrator. Why would you want to find "characters who are said to have yellow hair even though they are blue haired" when you search for yellow hair (and not find those characters when searching for blue hair)?
Edit: ... check if you are color blind or something before editing... maybe the in-game characters/narrator are right after all?Last modified on 2020-01-26 at 20:45

Can we have Naked in Front of an Audience
changed to 'Forced Nudity'?
#1943 by beliar
2020-01-26 at 22:59
@barfboy: Why? We already have the Forced Public Nudity trait. And nothing in Naked in Front of an Audience implies being forced. Maybe the character went for a swim and someone has stolen their clothes. Now they have to return to their home while in birthday suit.

@eacil/fuukanou: It's very common for older games to have this. I have lost the count of oldschool games where the girl has green hair, but the narrator insists they're black, or has pink, but the game says she's blonde. Imho, I think I agree with Eacil - we should probably list what we see, because we evaluate characters on their design and the design in this case does not have realistic colours.Last modified on 2020-01-26 at 23:22

"Public X" and "X in Front of an Audience" tags / traits are fundamentally different. Public means it's in a public space: school, park, streets, you name it. Whether anyone is around to see the act or not is entirely irrelevant. X in front of an Audience means that there is at least one person watching, but scene can be taking place on private property: like in someone's bedroom or kitchen. sure the two might overlap, but they are NOT the same thing.

With that being said, 12705 will not be renamed, since nothing indicates in the current version the "forced" part, and with all the tags we have on the manner, I don't see the point adding yet another child trait there.

this is forwarded from the other thread

is there a trait to describe that a character is longing for a love interest? like, to an extreme level. those characters usually sigh a lot, and whenever they see couples they will immediately say "die" or something along those line. they usually says "I want to be marriage"

I have had encountered those characters a lot of time (mostly mid-aged woman such as c31815 and c50693) but always got lost when deciding which tag should be applied to them.

if the tag has yet to exist, maybe we should create one?

I can assure you, Naiohoras, that I will not approve any trait pertaining to such a situation. It's both too specific (very few people would be on such an extreme spectrum that they would constantly express their desire to have a SO) and too vague (the aforementioned desire is hard to quantify and I can already guess that the trait will most certainly be used for any character that expresses even a handwaived desire to have a love interest). In fact a very similar trait has already been rejected previously: Family Building Complex.

The "woman in her late 20's who has a complex about the fact she's single" is a major trope I've seen in Japanese stories. I think in Japanese the term is 独身コンプレックス. But if a trait for it were added, it'd have to be done by someone with the ability to actually articulate it well. I can understand the appeal of the kind of cute insecurity that accompanies this trope, but I think this is the type of trait which hasn't been added yet because it requires more than just a quick Wikipedia paste to make it work. A poorly conceived name or description for this trait could even be harmful to VNDB (imagine the misunderstandings if it used naioharas's exact phrase "longing for a love interest").

How about cake complex heroine or heroine with a christmass cake complex?
Cake gives it an specific background for the heroine and I think the trope is common enough. And why wouldnt people look for it? Pretty sure that many people want to give such heroines the emotional relief they need.Last modified on 2020-01-28 at 01:37

complex... now come to think of it, we don't have the general trait for "complexes", even though the potential child traits such as siscon, brocon, etc. has already exist. maybe we should consider to create one so we don't have too many more specific traits?Last modified on 2020-01-28 at 03:16
