< report >For those who are wondering what's new in VN :
First 12 chapters (50%) it is a retelling of the anime story (except prologue and ending).
After that (another 50%) comes original continue of the story only for VN (for 10-15 hours).Last modified on 2013-05-20 at 22:05

*still feels that MLA-TE is still way inferior to MLA*

*would happy to read MLAC and MLA-TE though*

< report >So... Is the anime bad ? I wanted to wait because I saw that the VN will soon be available on windows, but I'll have to wait a long time before I can play the game...

So is the anime worth a shot ?

< report >It's okay. Nothing new, though. Complete recycling of everything that was in original MLA, even situations are often the same. Though, it's not about the quality of anime itself, but about the quality of story.
And it ends with cliffhanger, so you'll have to wait anyway.Last modified on 2014-09-01 at 12:00

< report >The anime is just meh. It's not bad, but it's not great either. It has a disappointing ending that does nothing good for the series. Don't get me started on the abused comic relief and plot holes. Any thoughts?

< report >My thoughts is that it's annoying. Slow and boring. Everything takes forever and they're stuck in boring discussions and infodumps. Then we have that bumbling buffoon Yui. If i hear her moan one more time just because Yuuya said her name or some other insipid bullshit i'll scream curses out the window. Then suddenly she acts like a total bitch towards Yuuya when they're out and about because she's too high on her throne and he needs to know his damn place when all he does is actually fixing a dumbass stalemate of sorts when lives are at stake.

Well, the story has had it's ups and downs, but it's intertwining fillers are messing up the characters, making them very inconsistent. It seems there are 2 Yui's at least. The kind and bumbling filler Yui and the steadfast and arrogant military one.

There is also Yuuya. I knew from the beginning that something would change with him. He was rude and difficult, but i dindn't hate it. I kinda hoped he'd become more cooperative of course, but i had the thought "the nail that sticks out" and all that. Surely enough that nail got hammered down and now Yuuya is basically a shell of himself. Boring and quiet. A good little doggie. ZZZZZLast modified on 2022-11-05 at 02:39
