Well, let me back up though. I know for a lot of VN readers and hentai readers, a large hurdle for them to get over in order to accept is something jarring like Monster girls. Though this one might be your gateway trip into playing and reading more of them. You've got a fine cast of heroines here with different personalities and even more different sorts of sex scenes which are insanely unique. The team has got some interesting ingenuity behind them concerning quite a few of them, in fact. Hell, they even have you making out with a manikin, but it works. I suggest aiming for the more humanoid ones, then aiming inwards further horizons, if you know what I mean. What you'll be impressed more than anything though is that each of the paths can get to be somewhat emotional for the heroine and protagonist, who is a teacher at the school. It's not simply there to show you that you can screw some monster girls, but that you can write a pretty legitimate scenario for the too. If you read the team's other works, I think you'd also be pleasantly surprised to how detailed they can make you feel towards one heroine or another. If you do come across this game, I suggest giving it a go before you just write it off, and it looks like those who've played it also agree. |

(link) He has a good track record on smaller VNs / hybrids so hopefully he will carry that onto a mid length one. i've played a couple of routes in japanese already and quite enjoyed it so i hope it goes well. Generic eroge with generic school setting and generic heroines who just happen to look like monster girls but lack everything what makes the concept of monster girls so fascinating. I really don't know why Vanadis games are so popular. I guess most people just fap to the CGs and don't care about story, characters or monster girls in general. |
| #7 by then00bavenger 2014-03-13 at 13:41 | More like it's because it's the only company making monster girls games that have any sort of production value and the monster girls aren't out to kill you or just treat you like a disposable toy(granted, the Alraune DOES end up treating you like that if you raise it wrong). You take what you can get, basically. It does a decent enough job of having them make use of their physical monster traits during h-scenes, anyway.
