I was spoiled and now know that Izumi and Okuhiko are lying to you about the premonitions and are secretly in league.

Is that the big twist and is there any point in reading now that I know this?Last modified on 2014-12-17 at 17:03

Never7's strength is not the story, but the characters and slice of life, peppered with a bit of mystery. Play one route and decide if you can enjoy that kind of content, the other routes are largely the same style. The twist, while not intended for you to know before, probably won't spoil the game, as it is more about the ride than the goal.Last modified on 2014-12-17 at 17:28

While that's a part of the main twist, there's a lot more to it than just that. So no, that shouldn't hurt your experience all that much.

Never7's a pretty average VN though, so don't expect too much from it. It's mainly worth reading for its connections to the rest of the Infinity series.

I disagree with cross. To offer you another perspective: Never7 is mediocre in everything, except the ideas and implications behind them. Even most of the twists are handled quite poorly. And everything beside the plot (like characters and slice of life) is very boring. At least, it was for me.
But I found the ideas to be worth it. And no, your spoiler is just the tip of an iceberg, so it doesn't really spoil that much.Last modified on 2014-12-17 at 21:47

I see, I generally don't mind slice of life and the fact that almost all members of the cast are adults interests me. I don't have high expectations but I want something of a light read after finishing Tsukihime.

Your spoiler is only about 1 route, if I remember well, because in all others, if this information is mentioned, others things contradict it, and make it a detail.
