< report >Generally IMO it's best to leave as is until
1. the translator calls it quits officially (or project abandonment)
2. another person/group picks up the project and makes progress that surpasses the previous group
3. all trace of the project disappears, eg the homepage disappears for an extended period

although, adding a "stalled" is a good idea (which is what you did :o)

< report >Sounds good to me. I'll abide by what you've said above unless yorhel or some other mighty being says otherwise...

< report >So is there anyone out there who knows what Chuu translations is doing with this? They haven't posted any updates since they told Yandere took over... But Yandere didn't...

< report >.. No, they said that Yandere announced that they were going to translate AnE and it'd be a shame if they completed that before their own project was completed. Chuu is still doing the translation for Fortune Arterial.

Our project is an open project no more.
They said that after the last update, and I take it as they're not going to post updates anymore until it's all done.

PS. GG on necroing a 3 year old thread.Last modified on 2011-09-19 at 20:55

< report >Sorry, was just wondering about why I didn't hear anything about them anymore anywhere. This game has been in translation for almost 3 years now so offcourse I want to see it.

Also I don't go around necroing for fun, it's not like there's a reward for posting a lot.

< report >I got curios and searched for FraiziarTL and found his site link
Setbacks have occurred and therefore the prepatch will take longer,
ETA June 2017 give or take a year.
Hopefully its going to be completed.

< report >Anyone have any info or any idea as to what's happening with the translation? Seems as though it's been dropped by FraiziarTL:
ETA June 2017 give or take a year.

Two years now... Is FraiziarTL still active?Last modified on 2019-06-16 at 19:19

< report >If it's been dropped, anyone have any idea how to access the VN's script? I am able to translate Japanese and would be very interested in picking this VN back up, but I have no knowledge on the engine used by August...

< report >You can just use any .arc extraction tool like GARbro + link

1. Download the tool and install the .bgi plugin with PMan.exe
2. Extract the files in data01000.arc to a new folder with GARbro - these are the script files.
3. Forcibly change their extension to .bgi
4. Drag this folder onto the tool exe - Stringtool.exe. Now you have the script in .txt and you can change it however you want.
5. After changing the txt file, drag it onto stringtool.exe - this will create a modified script file. Remove the .bgi extension and put it in the game folder.

< report >#17 Thanks for the info. I'll see what I can do, though still help is welcome @curious. I might be looking into working with some older VNs like Komorebi no Namikimichi

If anyone has knowledge about cracking a variety of VN engines (as well as porting to more supportive engines, in some cases), I would really like to hear from you.Last modified on 2019-06-16 at 21:29

< report >#17 I use a Linux machine so I have to go through WINE to use those programs, they won't run using WINE, and I am unsure as to what the problem is.

@curious I will be relying on you, please get in contact with me when you can. I really want to release a full patch for Fortune Arterial, for everyone in the community to enjoy. If anyone has suggestions for a future translation project you would like to see (maybe another August title?), I am definitely all ears.

< report >#20 Thanks for your help, I will contact you once I've gone through the first draft of translation.

If anyone is interested in QA please contact me (my e-mail is in an above post). We currently have just two people on this project, both of us will be dedicated to the translation, so help would be very much appreciated in other areas.
