< report >Ok, I tried to go to vndb.org through anonymizer.ru (virtual proxy site) and it works perfect too. I think somehow it connected to my ip adress.. now I have this picture (even skins aren't loaded):

< report >I recently switched s.vndb.org (the hostname for all static files for the site, including the skins and screenshots) to another server. Looks you're having trouble connecting to that server. :-(

As an ugly solution, you can add the following line to your hosts file: s.vndb.org
A browser restart or complete reboot may be necessary. Not sure.

< report >It worked. Thanks :)
Why that solution is ugly though? Are there any drawbacks? 0_0Last modified on 2010-05-23 at 22:53

< report >Because (not to put words in yorhel's mouth) if the server is changed again, that line will prevent you from getting the updated IP like everyone else: you'll have to either remove it and rely on your DNS server, or change it manually.

< report >What kelpie said. Although I don't intent to change the server anytime soon, so you should be safe for a while. However, if, in the far future, VNDB suddenly stops working for you and you still have that line, try removing it.
