< report >NORCO

This title over here is clearly not a VN. It's a point'n'click adventure game.

< report >Out of pure curiosity, would a VN using advanced PPT features to upgrade it from being a basic Kinetic Novel (like this prototype does with story branching) count? Wouldn't be much different from DVDPGs that probably use DVD menu mechanic for choices. It could even come bundled with a PPT Viewer from link for a full Flash game experience of yore.

Or what about something made in Excel (link)?

< report >I didn't imagine Power Point, and especially Excel could be used in such a way. These are definitely interactive multimedia projects, and not just a bunch of images and text tossed into a Power Point. Consider me schooled on what can be accomplished with basic documentation or presentation programs. I would consider your examples to be visual novels, even if a part of me is gently horrified... -.-'

< report >You have Monopoly, RPG, Tetris, Scrabble, and other board games made with Excel.
