Indeed, just search VNDB for ハーレム for examples for the katakana. What am I missing that the official site's romanisation trumps VNDB's? In any case, for v13841, it should at least have an alias as it's known widely under that name elsewhere. |

#3 by alto 2016-04-22 at 10:42 | < report >Right, but they don't follow VNDB's rules for romanisation which state: "For foreign loanwords and foreign words transcribed to Japanese, spell the word as the original language would spell it. Do NOT write it as a Japanese romanisation". Regardless of how the dev spells it (and they are sometimes wrong!), unless there a rule I'm missing, VNDB ignores what the dev thinks in favour of being consistent for the original title. If there was a something like "ウォーター" in a title and the dev had "uoutaa" on their site, we'd still use "water" as the transcription right? |
