@25: Asking others to use proper punctuation without doing so yourself is really not nice. You probably did it on purpose, but that doesn't make it better. If you start picking apart user's posts, you'll find that there is no one with perfect grammar and punctuation, including you. This is a public forum. Get used to it.

She loves him because of his talent. I mean, if you compare it with real life, we, too, love someone with a reason (whether he/she's kind, hot or something). No matter how much you try to deny that you can love someone unconditionally, in your subconscious, there's still a certain thing/s about your loved one that made you like him/her. So Fal's love is still a VALID LOVE, if you think about it. Love can take any form, after all.Last modified on 2018-03-04 at 09:46

You do understand she maked him sad on purpose right? She dont like him as a person, if a object made the same sounds she would trade him for it on the spot, can you really call this love?

She loves both him and his talent, she says that at the end of her route. I love you, you and the tone of your Fortelle, which indicates that she values both her career and the love from the mc as reihikari said. I also agree with loctar87 (post 15) in that Fal is more realistic than the typical visual novel girl and that she didn't force Chris, she wanted Chris to choose for himself, he can either be with her or leave her (Fal's bad ending).
PLEASE READ POSTS: 7, 8 (emir7), 12 (encrypted12345) and 22 (mirrored) which are very long, but also very revealing.
If it were just because of his talent, she wouldn't have risked so much nor would she have asked Chris to love her for who she is. It is because of this that Fal's life is screwed if he fails the final exam with her. Cesarini made that very clear to her, yet she still felt the need to establish a real romantic link with Chris. It is like she said, she wants success, but if possible she'd like to be happy too.
Fal's good ending is clearly Fal's happiest ending. She gets success, the guy she loves and he even loves her back (this is something she really wanted).
The author wrote what happens to Fal if he doesn't enter her route. As you guys know, if Chris doesn't enter either Fal or Lise's routes, Fal partners with Lise for the final exam. After that, what the author wrote (new content mentioned by the author) is that they start working together and thanks to Lise's talent and Cesarini's fame and power, they become successful in the easiest way possible. Fal doesn't have to do anything, Cesarini does all the work and prepares concerts for them, all of them successful. It should be Fal's dream.
Even so, many months after the final exam, Fal monologues that she regrets not being with Chris, and she doesn't reveal her true self to Lise either (and she could, she's very good-natured and wouldn't tell on her). Even though they've been working together for so long, when Lise says something Fal doesn't like, Fal simply puts on her constant smile. We all know that smile is fake, but her thoughts are a bit too dark as she even monologues how much she would like to kill Lise and how easy it would be.
This is more than proof enough that she loves Chris. She is giving up on that easy and successful life for a "chance" to be with him. And we all know how much her future is screwed if he leaves her or if their final concert is a mess. She has to start all over, except that this time she won't be financially supported by Cesarini. Many years of hard work gone to the gutter. This is not something a normal person would do to be with a highly unstable dude. Her original plan had been to partner with Lise and her father for life. But then, she fell in love with Chris' fortell. She wanted to have it, it made her happy just listening to it. And later, she became invested in Chris himself, so invested that for the first time in her life it does matter whether the other person truly loves her or not.Last modified on 2018-03-05 at 23:13

"If it were just because of his talent, she wouldn't have risked so much nor would she have asked Chris to love her for who she is." Its from this argument everyone says she love him, but one day before the revelation she goes and ask him if he is happy, and he says yes, after this day she goes and make him sad again, so I am going to say again, she dont love him, but his music is good so she's going to stick to him since its easier than Lise. Just read the vn again, she even knowns Arie is dead and is going to make cris see it, do you really think he is going to overcome it? No, he's just going to be sad the rest of his life, and thats everything she wants...
My point is: She only love his talent, and his talent make her life easier since she dont have to put up with Lise and Cesarini on the future, just with a puppet.Last modified on 2018-03-06 at 00:53

@31 While it's not impossible things could have gone that way, I don't think that interpretation is what was intended. It is likely that she did deliberately drive him into despair for the concert, but nothing that came after that indicated she intended to continue doing so into the future. Chris's music has a possible happier side to it, she just needed quick results to meet the deadline. In the short epilogue scene Chris seems happy enough. And, importantly, in their future together it is not raining.Last modified on 2018-03-06 at 04:46

she didn't force Chris, she wanted Chris to choose for himself, he can either be with her or leave her (Fal's bad ending).let me make a fair guess: It is also a "bad end" for MC/us then, yes?

"Its from this argument everyone says she love him, but one day before the revelation she goes and ask him if he is happy, and he says yes, after this day she goes and make him sad again"
As emir7 said, Fal is not the typical heroine that would die for her loved one, she has her own life and goals.
Read post 12 from encrypted12345. There are many other ways to make him sad if that's her goal. There was no need whatsoever to reveal herself to him. It is because she tells him the truth about herself that there's an ending where he ditches her, not to mention her true nature is revealed. Both risks are unnecessary and done to establish a true link with him, a relationship that's not based on lies.
"but his music is good so she's going to stick to him since its easier than Lise"
"She only love his talent, and his talent make her life easier since she dont have to put up with Lise and Cesarini on the future, just with a puppet."
Actually, Lise leads to an easier life without risks. Without even mentioning her incredibly wealthy and powerful father, her talent is probably on par with Chris, though Fal didn't fall in love with it.
Also, unlike Chris, Lise would be a true puppet as she would remain in the dark about Fal's true self, not to mention how easy it is to manipulate her. This adds sense of security to Fal as well.
"She even knowns Arie is dead and is going to make cris see it, do you really think he is going to overcome it?"
There is no rain in his head anymore. He's happy and he fully accepted breaking Ari's heart, he no longer cares. He was gonna realize she died sooner or later anyway, but that doesn't change much.
Fal stopped lying to him when she revealed herself to him. She no longer smiles very much and she speaks what's in her mind. Chris thinks this is a good change in her. Anyway, she said it's important that he meets Ari so that they can move on. It makes sense, it's the final step in his recovery. And mind you, it is thanks to Fal that he stopped seing the rain and reached happiness.Last modified on 2018-03-06 at 23:28

Mirrored (post 22) also mentioned the facing Ari thing as a way to face the situation head on. Seriously, considering that he's happy, the sky finally turned blue for him and he's found peace, it's pretty obvious the ending is happy.
And her last words to him, as reikihari said: "I love you, you and the tone of your Fortelle."
Ever since she revealed her true self, she stopped lying to him, she said so herself. Plus those are the last words of the route. It is the way the author has to tell us that despite her character, she really loves him.Last modified on 2018-03-06 at 18:06

Everything is arguably down to interpretation but I really believe this is one of the most misunderstood heroines.
She does love Chris, or at the very least, nothing is pointing towards the contrary.
Is it a perfect unconditional love, and is Fal perfect character? No. The twists purpose was to destroy this idealism and to expose the lie, and then furthermore, Fal's objective is to expose the truth beneath this lie, and see if Chris accepts this.
#35 gets it all right. At least, that's my interpretation.

Yes... I guess.
It's more of passionate love, than romantic love; like a passion, if Chris breaks, where Fal cannot make use of him, she'd drop him. Think of it like running; when you have a passion to running, but suddenly lose your legs, and have no way to retrieve them, you'd eventually have your passion faded away from the concept of running.
