< report >It's not out. What you probably has is a buggy homemade patch with months old revisions.

< report >Several months ago there was a buggy fully translated patch available in a link on the discussion section of the wiki page. The link was taken down some time ago, as it wasn't the "official" patch.

< report >Is it still being worked on then? I haven't seen any new comments at TLwiki for soon 3 months after them saying
"September 11, 2010: Editing and re-translation is finally done. Thanks for being patient with us."
I mean, it sounds like it's done and I don't really think that 20% QC would take 3 months.. without any updates.

< report >If you look on the discussion page for the VN on TLWiki, 'Kugyuuu' (who seems to be part of the translation team) said " there won't be a release until everything is 100% QCed, sorry. Thanks and please hold out a little longer." on October 27th...

Edit: Also, TinFoil (another member of the translation team) has been modifying the VN's page on TLWiki, with the last modification being the 27th of November. That counts for something, right? :PLast modified on 2010-12-05 at 15:36

< report >Sounds good :D

I saw the edit too, but the only thing I noticed was the new big picture at the top >_>
Well, I hope for a release before my Christmas break is over. That would definitely be awesome >:D

< report >Does anyone know if link translates the entire game, all routes, 100% ?

< report >If its the one I think it is it translates majority of the game.

< report >The person who uploaded it said the translation is 100% complete (including some images, like the Config menu and such), but some parts are unedited, so I was wondering if anyone has actually used this file to play through the entire game.

< report >Apparently it's quite bugged. At least that's what I remember about the available patches of this game.

< report >I am aware of the Ran route bugs in older patches, but this particular file is quite new, it was originally uploaded on January 11th 2011 and is said to be bug free and translate the whole game. So I ask again, is there someone who ACTUALLY USED it to play through the entire game ?

< report >Yes, and I could not save. Don't know which problems it has though.

< report >You're right, the save/load is broken. Though it seems to work at the multiple choice screens, at least that's something.

< report >I played through Ran route so far. I didn't notice any bugs. Save/load works by chapters -- i.e. if you saves in the middle of chapter -- you load to the beginning of chapter. Not big deal for me since there are many short "chapters" in the game. And on choices it saves like it should. Text is perfectly readable. I didn't notice any uneditness.
If you want play it -- play it now. Because in official release there most likely will be censorship regarding the heroines ages, but actually in game there are some funny jokes about lolies )
I don't know how such jokes can coexist with age censorship 0_0Last modified on 2011-02-23 at 16:17

< report >Don't jump to conclusions. Before somebody can prove something like that, don't start spreading such rumors. :|

JAST should have learned their lesson, and they seem to announce everything they changed beforehand. (Or at least they said something like that about Demonbane I think)Last modified on 2011-02-23 at 20:22

< report >Very Important: All characters in all our games are over the age of 18.
I think that kind of censorship is enough to make a lot of people angry at JAST, especially when the characters are CLEARLY still in high-school. I mean WTF? Who cares if they're underage? They're FICTIONAL CHARACTERS, amirite? That's one of the reasons why fan translations > official translations.
inb4 the JAST version of Osadai (available for purchase in 2014) has most characters as college students and the alien loli is 20 years old lol.

< report >If it's just some notice on their site, or at the beginning of the game, then what's the problem? I mean WTF? Who cares if they say they're not underage? They are still cute lolis. :P

If they change the in-game text, that's a different story, but I didn't hear anything about that yet.

I'm more concerned, that before they will finally release the game, all those lolis will really grow 20 years old... But that's not a big problem, with a TL patch already here, is it? ^^

< report >@19: You DO know that the Japanese tell you the very same... honestly. This is a little something which we call "the law". (Which is also the reason for some censorship they did in the past) But once again... they'll most likely tell us about it beforehand if they cut something. Cutting out "loli"-jokes... I dunno if they'd tell us about it, but it's most certainly less problematic than "loli" h-cg which this game has enough of. They knew what they bought, so I don't REALLY see a problem... yet.

Honestly, "the characters are over 18" disclaimer is common and always in eroge. Even the original shouldn't tell you explicitly about the age of a loli which you see in a sexual situation. It would simply be against the law.Last modified on 2011-02-24 at 17:40

< report >@21: Laws concerning fictional characters are STUPID. A drawn loli is not a child, it's a DRAWING. It does not have an age. And don't even get me started on Japanese censorship and how it causes discrimination.
But whatever, I already have the game and the English patch and when/if JAST releases it I'm sure some "kind people" will upload the uncensored HCG set somewhere.

< report >Japan is still pretty free when it comes to such things. Even though I personally agree that manga and real life are different things, such a disclaimer doesn't really hurt. (as stupid as they are)

Other countries, however, aren't like Japan and such a disclaimer might not be enough. So far there weren't any problems though (the companies were just a bit too careful), but who knows when the first big bang comes. (hopefully never :| )
