When JAST released the original Eiyuu Senki (one whole year after my patch), I compared some of the scripts I translated with their version and noticed that they removed many chunks of text from the game for absolutely no reason.

Censorship, or just lots of random text removing?

Surferdude, that's a pretty big accusation. It would be really interesting to have a substantiated article (not just a convenient ten lines example) about that. I mean, a company, whoever they are (forgot if they lifted the tl from the Fruitbat Factory release), cutting a lot of lines to buy time? Just wow, dude, you found a way to make me more jaded than ever.Last modified on 2019-01-13 at 21:26

As far as I know, yes, they lifted the tl from the Fruitbat release (and edited it, or so they say), and yes, I can confirm that they removed lines, at least from the H-scenes which JAST translated themselves. To what extent, that I don't know, as I didn't bother to compare all the scripts before deleting them. I simply concluded that my translation was more faithful to the original and left it at that.

Also, Aristotle is done. Date & Himiko threesome is next, and it's a big one, twice the size of other H-scenes.
