      2021-05-139.5Remember11 -The Age of Infinity-
2021-05-089.2Chaos;ChildTakes both the best parts of Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate and fuses them to create one of the best stories I've ever read. A genius thematical sequel to Chaos;Head that honors it beautifully and explores the aftermath of its story incredibly well with a new cast. Subverts and plays expectations straight in masterful ways. My only criticism is that half of the cast get their character resolutions/best character moments in the side material only, and that they're not in the base VN, which left me feeling like I only really got invested in 3 characters in the Visual Novel alone. If you want the full C;C experience that fleshes out the entire cast, and know a little Japanese, please read C;C Children's Collapse (Mio's past), the C;C LCC prologue/intermissions/true ending only, and C;C Children's Revive (The complete Chaos;Child epilogue). This should also go without saying but ideally try to play Chaos;Head before this entry for the best experience and full understanding of C;C's story, as some elements will be incredibly confusing without Chaos;Head context.
2021-05-089.8Robotics;NotesBest slice of life I've seen in any VN, never felt like it dragged and always had a clear focus in each scene as well as being incredibly fun and full of life. Good story pacing all around (better than Steins;Gate imo), one of the best SciADV casts, everyone is very well rounded and grounded and explored very well. Some of the best routes in the series (special shout out to Phase 7), and a beautiful culmination of what Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate built up in terms of the SciADV overarching storyline. The perfect finale to the Hayashi trilogy and the passion that he put into this story rivals that of Chaos;Head NoAH's story. Only thing that holds it back is that the true epilogue that softens the blow of the rushed ending is in a currently untranslated audio drama called "The place where we dreamt" which will hopefully be translated eventually. Part of Kai's arc is also in another untranslated audio drama called "Winter Sky Rocket". Definitely read Chaos;Head at the bare minimum before you read Robotics;Notes, or else you will be very confused at the endgame of this story as well as miss out on key plot points. Steins;Gate is also recommended, though you can definitely get away with just watching the Steins;Gate anime if you want to understand its contribution to R;N's plot.
2021-05-089.5Steins;GateGood pacing, really fun and lovable cast, really great pay off, and manages to not sacrifice most of its writing integrity just to appeal to the mainstream. IMO The best time travel story out there by sheer virtue of making hard concrete rules to prevent paradoxes/plot holes and actually avoiding having said plot holes entirely, as well as having really well written characters and being a fully realized story that's incredibly cohesive. Still hits me really hard emotionally to this day, and I love it. It's also a magnificient thematic sequel to Chaos;Head that mirrors/parallels its events and characters in genius ways, while being its own fantastic stand alone story.
2021-04-2110Chaos;Head NoahThe most ballsy story I've ever read, gives no craps about mainstream appeal and goes to insane extremes to tell a very ambitious, thrilling story about a kino Otaku. NoAH goes above and beyond and made me go from "literally who" with the girls to "I will protect these children", I've never turned around so hard on a cast before, so kudos to Hayashi. The ending made me cry tears of joy after all the heartache and strife. Definitely the most unique VN story/atmosphere I've ever seen, and it's a story that'll stick with me forever. A perfect beginning to the kino series that is Science Adventure.

2021-04-198.5Silver CrisisReally great Machinima VN that finishes a good machinima story and is honestly pretty solid, proof that fanfics can be very good plots as well, and would highly recommend, it's free as well.
2021-04-197.5Gyakuten KenjiMade MUCH better by the power of 2x Speed and Lucahjin's amazing commentary. Without it I would probably give this game a 6 honestly, it really made the experience that much better. The endgame definitely would've felt like it dragged way too long without those two things.

2021-04-1910New Dangan Ronpa V3 Minna no Koroshiai ShingakkiThe most well thought out DR with really good themes, no deus ex machina endings, the best utilized cast in the series, and probably one of the best endings I've ever seen. I enjoyed every single second of it and watch LPers react to it to re-watch the story all the time. Masterful. The main character is also amazing, with a character arc that ties into the themes of the game beautifully.

2021-04-199Ever17 -The Out of Infinity-Overall a really great story. I think it deserves a lot of its popularity, having a fairly solid cast, actually insane twists and a really creative route structure that if played in the right order, flows incredibly well. Surprisingly avoids harem stuff more than I expected which I'm a big fan of, and it's meta in a great way. I very much respect this title for starting the big Sci-Fi twist heavy VN boom that spawned my favorite series, SciADV. Would recommend. Though, seeing a detailed summary of Never7 before this game would be very beneficial to enjoying this game's story in full.
