6.9Finished12 no Tsuki no EveNot surprised that minori continued the trend of having big-breasted heroines after seeing good sales with Perseus. Then also continued putting out pretty half-assed stories. The major plot twist in this was a little interesting but poorly executed. I've pretty much given up on minori ever putting out a halfway decent vn again.2014-02-12
9.2FinishedAiyoku no EustiaHas a nice medieval fantasy setting which was pretty unique. The episodic structure kind of ruined the flow of the story since heroines pretty much stopped appearing once their route was over. The ending seemed rushed, but overall it was a fantastic read.2012-12-07
8FinishedAkatsuki no GoeiKaito is the greatest protagonist ever. He manages to be hilarious while also having a deep backstory. This is mainly for the comedy and wealth of likable characters. The problem with it as with all other Kinugasa works is that the endings are just plain trollish.2014-07-04
7.8FinishedAkatsuki no Goei ~Principal-tachi no Kyuujitsu~Kaito is the greatest protagonist ever. He manages to be hilarious while also having a deep backstory. This is mainly for the comedy and wealth of likable characters. The problem with it as with all other Kinugasa works is that the endings are just plain trollish.2014-07-04
8.2FinishedAkatsuki no Goei ~Tsumibukaki Shuumatsuron~Kaito is the greatest protagonist ever. He manages to be hilarious while also having a deep backstory. This is mainly for the comedy and wealth of likable characters. The problem with it as with all other Kinugasa works is that the endings are just plain trollish.2014-07-04
7.2FinishedAmakano ~Second Season~This was a decent read, but had a couple big problems that prevent it from scoring higher. First, I thought the art was atrocious. Some people happen to like the art for the Amakano games, but I'm not a fan at all. Second, the relationship develops way too slowly. I suppose if you sped up the pace of the relationship, this would only be 10 hours long, but I don't want to sit through 20-30 hours of the friend stage.2016-09-04
8.4FinishedAmatsukaze ~Kugutsu Jinpuu-chou~Set in old times in Japan with ninjas and all that jazz. The fight scenes were pretty cool and the writing was great though I guess a little unpolished. The game engine also was a minor complaint, but the rest of the game made up for it.2014-04-12
5.8FinishedAneimo 2 ~Second Stage~About living with a bunch of sister characters. It seems that all their other games follow the exact same theme so I guess if you've played one, you've played them all. Nothing interesting jumps out as it's about as generic as you can get without being a nukige.2013-02-02
7.3FinishedA ProfileI was so excited about Miku's route when I started and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Miou is something I also didn't expect from a protagonist. And typical Looseboy with his trickery. Probably my least favorite AkabeiSoft2 work.2012-04-12
8.7FinishedArtemis BlueVery pleasantly surprised by this. It has a very likable cast along with good art. Haru is the main character which is unusual thing, but a welcome one. Allie is incredibly adorable and is by far my favorite character. There really need to be more cute daughter characters in eroge. The ending left some things open, but it was still satisfying. One regrettable thing was the tease of Rose's appearance at the end. I was hoping we'd finally get to meet her, but that was not the case. For some reason, she had a really great voice so I was hoping to see what she looked like. Her seiyuu isn't even listed in the credits so there's no way of knowing who voiced her either.2016-07-27
8FinishedBakumatsu Jinchuu Houkoku Resshiden MiburoNot as good as Chusingura though it does some things better. The characters were far more interesting and developed. I wish some of the other major characters got more screen time considering how long this was. The fight scenes were hit and miss. Most were pretty dull aside from Hijikata's fights.2020-08-10
8FinishedBaldr HeartFollows the same formula as Sky, but not as successfully. This game is a lot shorter which I didn't mind since Sky was a little too long. The problem with this game is that all routes other than Nagi's felt completely worthless. They give some background information, but I probably would've just jumped into Nagi's route from the start if knew better. Combat was great as expected and Nagi's route was really good so it definitely felt worth it in the end. I really liked Nagi as a heroine as well so her being the main was great.2017-02-26
9.1FinishedBaldr Sky Dive1 “Lost Memory”Really fun mecha battle system added another layer to how great this is. The setting was pretty cool and I liked how it incorporated virtual reality. My only complaint would be that the routes leading up to Sora's were too repetitive. You're given additional information with each route but it's very few and each route is quite long so it started becoming a chore to get through. It didn't really matter in the end because Sora's route was so amazing and made up for most of it.2013-08-09
9.7FinishedBaldr Sky Dive2 “Recordare”Really fun mecha battle system added another layer to how great this is. The setting was pretty cool and I liked how it incorporated virtual reality. My only complaint would be that the routes leading up to Sora's were too repetitive. You're given additional information with each route but it's very few and each route is quite long so it started becoming a chore to get through. It didn't really matter in the end because Sora's route was so amazing and made up for most of it.2013-09-15
6.1FinishedBible Black -La Noche de Walpurgis-girls obsesssed with magic2012-04-12
6.5FinishedBiniku no Kaori ~Netori Netorare Yari Yarare~The playthrough for this game is pretty interesting because most of it involves walking around in the house and you get to choose where you go. But you're constantly given scenarios that you know will lead to a bad end if you go through with it. Despite that, they're all pretty tempting so I ended up seeing a bunch of them. Then there was the major plot twist towards the end that threw me for a loop. Overall, it was an NTR experience that was really interesting to play through, but never was good enough to be considered great.2012-12-07
7.3FinishedBishoujo Mangekyou -Kami ga Tsukuritamouta Shoujo-tachi-I didn't play the other 3 games in the series since they're all pretty separate from each other. This one was pretty short and mainly dealt with the relationship between The protagonist, Alice, and Dorothy. As characters, I much preferred Dorothy and found Alice pretty annoying. I liked Lily a lot as well, but her route was treated as the bad end. It was nice and relaxing, but nothing major happened that impressed me. A solid title overall.2015-06-03
7.3FinishedBoku no Mirai wa, Koi to Kakin to. ~Charge To The Future~Having a gacha game inside an eroge was pretty amusing. There wasn't any currency so the pulls weren't as exciting as they could've been. The routes themselves were all right. It looked like they were trying to deal with problems involving gacha games but later tailed off to more normal stuff.2019-10-21
5.5FinishedBoku to Go-nee to Umi no Year!!Boring and generic. 5 Older sisters is nice, but the writing was really bad so I couldn't be bothered.2014-12-30
6FinishedBrass RestorationAbout music. Gags are repeated too often and aren't really that funny.2012-04-12
5FinishedBrave Soulgameplay was bad2012-04-12
6DroppedBunny Blackstory has potential but the gameplay was hard to get into2012-12-07
7.1FinishedCartagra ~Tsuki Kurui no Yamai~I played this after Kara no Shoujo so the art and general production values obviously weren't as good. The protagonist Shugo was also a side character in Kara no Shoujo so it was pretty interesting to see what he was doing before that. Quite a few characters appear in both games so it was nice seeing what their past was and how/if they changed. I have to say I thought Kara no Shoujo was better and Reiji was a better protagonist as well. Thhe murder mystery aspect is in this one as well and I'd say it was done better plot wise.2013-02-28
6.5FinishedCastle Fantasia ~Seima Taisen~story wasn't bad, gameplay was too easy2012-04-12
7.8FinishedChoukou Sennin Harukafun gameplay, story wasn't great2013-06-27
6.8FinishedChoukou Tenshi EscalayerPlays just like beat blades haruka but the story is even worse.2014-07-30
7.2FinishedChronoBoxThis is something that makes a lot more sense playing it the 2nd time. However, it didn't seem worth it so I just got all the endings and left it at that. The twist was interesting even if predictable. None of the characters got much time in the spotlight, but I suppose it was designed that way. I probably would've preferred a smaller cast with more time to develop the major characters.2017-06-17
8.2FinishedChuSinGura 46+1Based on the Chusingura play with some changes like making all of the male characters actually female. There were a lot of action scenes involving sword fighting. Each route is basically another chapter after the protagonist loops back into the past in a seemingly endless cycle. I suppose it was nice to see him become a badass as he kept looping and gaining battle experience.2013-11-13
6.8FinishedChuSinGura 46+1 Bushi no KodouA direct sequel to the first Chusingura eroge. Things take a much less serious tone as it's just a giant harem for Suguha for 80% of the game. It feels like a fan disc for fanservice and doesn't really add anything to the original story.2015-01-03
9FinishedClannadMy favorite heroines were Kyou and Yukine. This was one of the first vns that I read and it was incredibly long. Not only were the individual routes long, but after story adds even more length to it. The story does drag a lot at times when Tomoya is being a brat and has relationship problems with the heroines. The main reason to read this is for the after story. While it is quite good, I thought it tried too hard to make readers cry at certain parts of the story. Also, I thought the original ending was fine the way it is. I thuoght the fact that you could change it by collecting the balls of light cheapened the ending. I suppose Key had to pull off their old Key magic and make everyone happy somehow.2012-04-12
6.7FinishedCrescendo ~Eien da to Omotte Ita Ano Koro~love triangle, heroines were meh2012-04-12
10FinishedCross†ChannelThis is pretty much Romeo's masterpiece. When reading through this, I didn't like Taichi at first since I thought he was just a retarded pervert. Things quickly changed as I went through the story and he gradually grew on me. Romeo's writing is phenomenal and he just has a qay of connecting with the reader that most writers just don't have. Towards the end, I liked Taichi a lot as I understood more of him. The ending was really fitting and just made me appreciate how great Romeo is with his mastery of the japanese language.2012-04-12
8FinishedDaibanchou -Big Bang Age-I was surprised when I found out that this was actually partially voiced since my only experience with Alice Soft at the time were Rance games. The gameplay is pretty fun the general story is interesting enough. However, Rance is a much better protagonist than Ryouga. There were so many heroines and the main ones didn't differentiate themselves enough to make me like them more than the side cast. Overall, a fun game with an average to decent story.2012-04-12
7FinishedDaiteikokuSimilar to Daibanchou where you have to conquer a bunch of areas. The gameplay deals with spaceships and isn't as good. The direction of the plot is also confusing at times. I did enjoy loli idol Hitler though!2013-01-24
8FinishedDangan Ronpa Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubou no KoukouseiHas good crime solving gameplay. The humor is also great. The class trials are pretty fun and it's a lot better in the game than in the anime. The anime was pretty terrible for class trials. Some of the logic was pushing it, but it never got really bad so I was satisfied.2015-03-29
6.1FinishedD.C. ~Da Capo~More like Da Crapo2012-04-12
6FinishedD.C. II ~Da Capo II~More like Da Crapo2013-05-23
5FinishedDeardropsI had high hopes for this after reading Kira Kira, but it ended up being a massive disappointment. The characters weren't that likable except for maybe Riho. The band experience was vastly different from that of Kira Kira's. The band in this one was just put together in a hurry and didn't really do anything.2012-04-12
6.7FinishedDemonion 2 ~Maou to Sannin no Joou~Writing is much better compared to the first. Battle system is a lot more annoying though2014-06-04
6.3FinishedDemonion ~Maou no Chika Yousai~The writing is incredibly bad, but I was more interested in the gameplay when I chose to play this. It's a tower defense game that was pretty fun after you got some of the heroines. Something I really disliked was how formulaic the encounters with the heroines were. They went the exact same way with every single one of them. In the end, the only redeeming features of this game were the gameplay and art.2014-06-04
5FinishedDengeki StrykerThis is something I would read if I was a 10 year old kid who thought dressing up as a superhero was cool. This vn was so chuuni and not in a good way. I can't recall the number of times I cringed because the dialogue was so lame.2012-06-29
9.3FinishedDies iraeThere were so many cool things about this that I don't know where to start. Most of the characters have their own unique way of talking which just shows how versatile Masada is. I was just amazed whenever Mercurius or Reinhard talked. The whole battle royale concept was really cool as well and I really liked how it displayed the status of all the members at the end of each chapter.2013-07-18
4FinishedDiscipline -The Record of a Crusade-femdom took away from the attractive girls2012-04-12
7.5FinishedDra†KoIThis was really short so it's harder to rate it than something that was 10 hours long. Thanks to it's short length, the pacing is breakneck so I was never bored while reading it. It was pretty funny but it ended so quickly that I didn't feel too satisfied with it.2013-04-23
5FinishedDuel SaviorThe gameplay was pretty fun the first time around, but got too repetitive when doing the other routes. It's not fun doing the same fight 4-5 times for the entire game. As for the story, it was pretty standard in terms of normal students becoming heroes in a new world. I didn't like the characters too much since I found them either boring or generic.2012-12-07
6.2FinishedDungeon of Regalias ~Haitoku no Miyako Ishgalia~I've been noticing a trend with the protagonists in Astronauts' games. They're all exactly the same person and that gets old real fast when that particular person has no depth in their character. The RPG battle system was all right. Everything was pretty mediocre or bad so it became a drag to play as I stopped caring about the story and gameplay.2016-05-01
8.5FinishedEden* They Were Only Two, On The Planet. This was the last minori game that was actually good. It's a pretty short game but it ends pretty satisfactorily. I'm glad it focused so much on Shion compared to all of the other characters because she was definitely the star of the game. The art is gorgeous and bright. I'm actually surprised the writer was able to flesh out the story and background of each character so much in such a short amount of time.2013-07-21
8.5Finishedef - a fairy tale of the two.I really like how the game changes the point of view to another set of characters after an episode is completed. All the stories were pretty interesting on their own and they aren't really related to the others except for the fact that the characters all know each other one way or another.2012-06-29
9FinishedEien no Aselia -The Spirit of Eternity Sword-I like it when normal students get transferred to fantasy worlds as long as it's done right. This game is an example of that and the world even has its own language. The protagonist overcoming the language barrier is a nice addition to the story. As for the story itself, it's very well done and the progression through it is fascinating. The gameplay is also good in that it's difficult enough that you can't just breeze through it without thinking.2012-04-12
7.6FinishedEiyuu*SenkiI liked the battle system and I liked the abundance of characters. The problem is they mostly consisted of shallow, boring characters. I understand they were trying to get all of them some screen time, but it ended up making all of them forgettable. The story was pretty mediocre as well so the only thing that keeps the game interesting is the battle system and trying to get all the girls.2015-04-22
