Description

This is a story from a very, very distant era. The world has suffered from a great war. The contaminated atmosphere is turning ash gray, life on Earth almost came to a stop and water started vanishing. The world population has declined remarkably compared to the Golden Age. The people joined together to live in this world.

It was in these times that a "Phiroid", a robot that can feel, woke up in a decayed facility. The fruit of science before the war: a humanoid, feeling robot. They were promised a new partner, one that could make their life easier. However, the awakened Phiroid finds out very quickly that he is emotionless. Perhaps he was not finished during the manufacturing process since his right hand is not covered with artificial skin, his mechanical parts visible. The Phiroid wanted to get closer to humans. He continued to wander through this devastated world, looking for the emotions he was missing. One day, a girl takes him in. She thinks of him as human and kindly looks after him. A little but warm town.

The Phiroid boy began learning what feelings are while living together with this girl.

<report>Harmonia is a bit like a two sided coin: The first half of this VN was rather dull and the story circled around some rather uninteresting dilemmas and topics, but the later half was very good and redeemed this VN. The characters we're all very one dimensional, but backed by decent VA's and I grew somewhat attached to them. The setting is very interesting, but in my opinion it was utilized rather poorly. There are some twists; mostly predictable, but a few caught me completely off guard. Additionally the OST and art we're really great.

Definitely not the best VN I've read, but definitely not the worst one either.

<report>The beginning is very slow and somewhat dull. The story takes its time exploring the not-so-interesting dilemmas of the characters. But, thankfully, the ending made the read worthwhile. There are some nice twists (some predictable, some not so much), touching moments, and a likable conclusion without being so cheesy. But the setting was the best thing for me. I could read more vns in this same universe (and I even think Harmony didn't explore it that well). The soundtrack is another highlight, which makes sense since music is such a significant thing to one of the protagonists. What I missed is having any interaction... I know that kinetic novel is like that, just reading. But I saw a cool potential to explore more routes and endings.

<report>I can't use words to describe the experience I had with this game, it's been a while since I cried like that... It's short, beautiful, and it's an emotional roller coaster that plays with your feelings since the beginning of the game, I highly recommend it.

<report>And so, my love for Key will be forever stronger.

A story that managed to make me feel orange, a story that managed to make me feel blue. I learned all these feelings alongside our protagonist, Rei. In a dystopian world where robots and humans can't coexist, Rei begins his learning process with the help of Shiona, Tipi, and others. In a short and quite slow-paced for the most part story, the writers managed to fit so much emotion in this visual novel. A kinetic novel that is rather overlooked in the grand scheme of Key works, yet one made with so much love.

I beg of you to read this. I pity you for not experiencing this for the first time yet, and I envy you for having the chance to read... Read more »
