<report>I remembered having played this after stumbling on it randomly in the db years later.

It's main issue was the lack of a hook for me, I did not really find any of the characters likeable or interesting and I could not connect with the story because of it. Despite how short this game is the pacing is slow, oftentimes not answering questions in favor of ambiguity. I am not really a fan of the jumbled up continuity of the plot either.

Despite my harshness, there were positives. The game is free, the overall art is decent, and the atmosphere was well thought out. There's no real risk in giving it a try. For those that can get immersed im sure it will be enjoyable. Just not for me.

<report>I remember this being the first plotge I've ever played, and the third VN I've experienced overall. Before that I played the shitpost game Kusoge and some nukige I saw some Youtuber do a Let's Play of.

I loved the character of "Mother" and how you make the all of the choices from her POV. Her conversations with her daughter Rosa where she debates with her about human nature and whether or humanity is inherently evil was very thought provoking. These philosophical aspects were really what made the endings of the game... Read more »

<report>Cupid has some of the best atmosphere I have seen in a visual novel. It can be downright creepy and has a dark macabre feel to it. My main issue with it was something that also made it unique: my character. You don’t play the main character but their mother. My issue with this wasn’t the change in perspective but that I just couldn’t enjoy the character. Frequently I liked neither of my dialogue options and I didn’t agree with where the character wanted to take things. I wouldn’t say this stopped me from enjoying the game but I would have enjoyed it more if I could identify with the mother’s motives and reasoning or had other options that suited me. Despite this I can’t say this was a bad... Read more »
